Diablo Battle Chest

It's one of the best computer games ever. (Mac Problem.)
Diablo II is by far one of the greatest games ever made for the computer. Absolutely incredibly fun and entertaining. There is a problem with the battle chest load discs for the mac: You cannot download Diablo 2 and then download Diablo 2:LOD as separate downloads, it will not recognize Lord of Destruction (LOD) as an installable disc with all macs running 10.4 or higher, the way to get around ...

Making creatures that walk backwards was funny
All I can say is I am definitly getting spore in september when its released or soon after. This is a ton of fun. I can't wait to see my cousin's little girl try this when they come for visit . This will keep kids and us older folks amazed for hours. It definitly teaches you bout anatomy as I know I made two or three things first that walk backwards til I figured how it went. Which is fun I can't ...

I don't need my old PC anymore!
I was little concerned about the performance and stability of this product with reviews I've read online. I agree that for most games it simply will not work yet, but if you are just looking for a business applications solution, this works fantastic. I set it up to work with my Boot Camp partition so that way I can reboot into Windows when necessary to play games (such as Gametap). Otherwise, ...

Nearly ideal
I'm not even going to bother explaining the usefulness of VMWare, there are plenty of reviews doing just that and doing it well... Parallels vs VMware I've used both Parallels and VMware Fusion, each have their positives and negatives. For instance... Parallels 3 can boot off windows in on a USB drive VMware cannot (nor can windows) Parallels 3 can boot off non-bootable eSATA ports. ...

Office 2008 for Mac
So far, I really like this product. I heard some iffy things about it before I ordered it. But it hasn't done me wrong yet! I use mainly "Word" for word processing - Resume work, cover letters, newsletters, calendars (for my classroom), etc. And so far it's been WAY easier than what I was using before -- Pages. I've used both this, and Office on Vista, and to me this is much easier. Vista's ...

Unbelievable Deal
If you're looking to play World of Warcraft, the Battlechest is really the only viable option. The Battlechest is the same price as only the expansion pack, and it also includes the original game, with a separate CD key that will be required if you ever want to make a second account or something. Great buy, great game. Just be careful of how much time you spend playing it!

Apple leopard 10.5 +++
I was running 10.3.9 on my g-4 Powerbook 1.25. The computer began to crash when accessing some sites on the internet. Some web sites that I had been using, just stopped loading at all. I had concerns of going to the newer 10.5 Leopard due to its size and slowing the computer. I cannot tell it slows the computer down, if it does. It takes a little longer to start up. I will say I am very ...

Does everything I need for much less $$ than that other Microsoft program....
I recently switched to Mac and since I had been using Microsoft Office ever since I can remember, I thought I would just order it for my Mac as well. That is, until I saw an ad for iWork and was drawn to it by the much, much smaller price tag. I thought I would try it since it cost so much less than MS Office. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this piece of software. It has ...

Rating the possibilities...
Well, this isn't usually something that I do, but that's just how much this game has already impressed me even without being released. I've been playing computer games for quite some time now and I consider myself an avid gamer. Some of my all-time favorites include Age of Empries 2: The Conquerors, Quake 3, Worms (and all subseqent sequels), Prey, Warcraft 3, Counter-Strike (the first one) and ...

Elements 6 Mac - A Great Upgrade
The software is now more functional and polished than ever. Having migrated from Elements 2 and then 4, this is a fine upgrade which extends the usefulness of the product, and prevents me from having to invest in the full PhotoShop. Best feature for me is the improved photo merge capability - results hardly need to be adjusted in some cases.

Great game
I love this game. I've played it over and over.. it takes a long time to get to diablo you wont make it in one day no matter how many hours you put in.. this is very involved. Many many quests.. great engine and easy controls with the mouse make for a smooth game play. Next to World of Warcraft this is my favorite online role playing game and you can also play offline.. best thing.. no monthly ...

Outland Outstanding
I started playing WoW in November of 2007 so this review is as much about WoW as it is about the Burning Crusade expansion. Wow and BC are sophisticated MMORGs in that the story development and plot lines are well constructed and thought out. Playing the game and leveling can be a bit of a grind now and then, but there are plenty of in-game activities from battlegrounds to seasonal quests to ...

Awesome game
I've played pretty much all the games Blizzard made except this one. I bought this a month ago and it is awesome. Even though the graphics are from 1998, they're not bad. Great story and great campaign missions. I wish current RTS games would stick with great linear campaigns like this game did (read: the Dawn of War expansions).

card lovers...
If you're an old time card player like me, you'll appreciate being able to play all the old favorites like hearts, spades, bridge and pinochle. And you can still explore several variations of poker games or relax with a nice mindless game of war or crazy eights. Or, if you're really feeling wiped out, just pull up one of the video poker emulators and you can just spazz out for an hour or two. ...

One of the best RTS/RPGs on the market
Not only a great deal, this game has stood the test of time and is still enjoyable today. Play solo in campaign mode, multiplayer RTS classic mode, user created maps, mini games, tower defense, DOTA, castle defenders, and the list goes on! If you like to command and conquer, this game is a must own.

It runs well under OS 10.5.3
I got this version because my older version would not run under OS 10.5.3. It does that and runs flawlessly. I mostly wanted iDVD for a project but the other apps are nice to have. I've produced a DVD of pix I took at a family wedding which has been greatly appreciated by both sides of the family. I'm not into video but needed a way to have people look at the pix without a computer. It does that ...

Good software is hard to find
Aperture is a fantastic piece of software for managing and enhancing all your photos. You can manage master photos with various versions, which unlike iPhoto will store the adjustment parameters rather than a copy of the photo. Importing and generation of previews is threaded so you can continue working while it churns away in the background. I am a strong user of keywords and Aperture does ...

Works with MacBook
Not only is this game awesome, but it works on my MacBook (MacBook, not MacBook Pro). It runs even better than on my old PC. The Aspyr game agent doesn't recognize the video card of the MacBook, and the box even says that it won't run on an Intel Video Card, but it does and it runs great. Just make sure you have enough memory to play it. And, after you open it for the first time, go to ...
