This program offers just about everything a musician would want to do with music. The Learning curve is high, but the excellent tutorials will teach you all you need to know. It just takes time. I love the conversion of songs to chord structures. The only draw back is it only does .mp3 or .wav files. If you have iTunes and your music is .aa files you have to convert them. This is a very good buy
After trying to learn guitar on my own off and on over the last twenty years, this product is actually teaching me how to play. Rather than starting with scales or other theory the program begins with a few simple chords and then shows you how to put those together for some basic songs. This actually had me sounding musical on the first day -- way cool.

Better than eMedia Guitar Basics
This is way better than the eMedia Guitar Basics CD-ROM because you actually know what the songs are supposed to sound like when you play them. They have rock songs that you've heard before, unlike the "folk" songs and spirituals that Guitar Basics teaches you. Unfortunately this does not work with Windows Vista, so I have to use it on a computer that uses XP.
