Out of Whack1 review

Hard Shell Word Factory, 2004

Whacka Whacka Whacka
This was another fine example of Jeff Strand's ability to make a reader laugh. This book was outright hilarious! I enjoyed every single minute of it, even if toward the end I felt as though it could have wrapped up a little sooner. None the less a very quick and fun beach read. He never disappoints.

Brian W. Vaszily

Hard Shell Word Factory, 2001

A Very Moving Experience
This book was like none other I have ever read... the author seemed to digest this tradegy and somehow turned it into something beautiful. It has reminded me of all that I have, how easily it could be gone and to cherish every moment we are here. It has truly changed the way I see my life. I enjoyed this book very much and highly recommend it to everyone.

Toni Credella PI, A Rising Star
If Toni Credella had helped Alice when she asked, would Alice still be alive? Driven by guilt, Toni can't wait for the Baltimore Police Department to find her neighbor's murderer. Anne Clarke

Hard Shell Word Factory, 2002

What a wonderful suprise!
I love paranormal/futuristic romances but I am very picky and rarely find new authors that I like but Anne Clark has just been added to my list! I won't write a storyline for this book as others have done so but I thought the book was well done. I will be looking for more books in the future from this author!

Once again Pauline Baird Jones gives her readers a great story of mystery, thrills, and romance. It's little wonder that she's becoming one of the fastest growing stars in the genre!

Southern Cross1 review

Hard Shell Word Factory, 2001

This book was marvelous!
Linda Opdyke took time travel to the next step and beyond! Amanda Jackson and her ancestor Angelique Beaumont change places. Now it's up to Amanda to figure out why! This book had it all - romance, mystery, intrigue. It was one of those 'not to be put down till it's finished' books! I highly recommend this book.

Team of Darkness8 reviews
Tony Ruggiero

Hard Shell Word Factory, 2002

A great blend of Vampires and special forces
I met Tony Ruggiero at a sci-fi convention. After hearing him in a panel discussion, I decided to take a chance on one of his books. I am glad that I did. Team of Darkness really caught my interest. I am fan of military action fiction and a fan of vampire mythology. Ruggiero does a fantastic job of combining the two. His take on vampire creation, history, culture was fresh and interesting ...

Hold Back Time2 reviews
Allene Frances

Hard Shell Word Factory, 2001

Tenderness, tension, and excitement. I loved the dog.
This book reminded me of the old Victoria Holt, Phyliss Whitney books. Lots of foggy coast intrigue, it even had an old diary that revealed long hidden secrets. I hated for it to end.

Quirky, light reading -- Very highly recommended

Do Wah Diddy Die3 reviews
Pauline Baird Jones

Hard Shell Word Factory, 2001

About Do Wah Diddy Die
I just finished reading this book and must admit I laughed out loud several times. The characters were crafted so well and the storyline was fascinating. Ms Jones wove so many different characters into a perfect mix. I could see them in my 'mind's eye'.

Dream Thieves2 reviews
Steven Lee Climer, Owl Goingback

Hard Shell Word Factory, 2001

Mesmerizing and Captivating: for Barker and Gaiman Fans
From what I've read, this was Steven Climer's first book. After reading it I now see why he won so many awards and honorable mentions. He set the bar pretty high for himself. Dream Thieves sucks you in innocuously until you're tangled in the horrors of a man who can't dream. The imagery and surrealness put Climer right up there with Barker and Gaiman.
