WHEN cRPGs TOUCHED THE SKY...
This was the LONGEST the MOST FUN game I have ever played! And, mind you, I am not an easy customer (feel free to browse through my reviews, you will see what I mean...) The original BG series was excellent in all of storyline, gameplay, music and stability. Now, nowadays, sequels usually mean a graphically-improved expansion (at best). BG2 is a rare exception of the sequel clearly SURPASSING ...

Why do you have to be a Hater???
Yes, I agree, the Fallout 1 and 2 rock but Fallout Tactics is rockin' as well. It is a little harder to beat than the first two games but the real time game play, not turn based, is pretty dang fun. Set up traps, ambushes, and rush your enemies. Sweet weapons like the laser cannon and chain gun only inhance the game play as well. If you are willing to try out the challenging game play of Fallout ...

Very Easy and Fun
Just a very simple, fun game. I have all the "new" PC golf games but this is just fun to start and play. Easy to learn.

No instruction book included
One of the all time great CRPG's. Having 4 dvd's instead of 11 (i think) total CD's is awesome. Just as a warning to a collector type, it does not come with a hard copy of any of the instruction books. There are PDF versions on the various DVD's.

klingon Academy Awards
Without a doubt Klingon Academy is the academy awards winner of the star trek games. Interplay should come out with a sequel, and call it Klingon Academy 11. Please keep the same interface, controls. Could make millions. thank you, Romeo H Faison.

A Classic and a Must-Have
I played the demo of the first Fallout game years ago off of a demo disk that a friend of mine got in the mail. Suffice it to say that I bought the original Fallout shortly thereafter and became enamoured by even the idea of a sequel. However, unlike poorly written sequels to boxoffice smash hits Fallout 2 delivered with absolutism. Not only were the game's core competencies improved, but the ...

After all these years, this was the best game I ever played
I think its been 10 years since this game was released, so I thought I should write a review, since none of the front page reviews do it justice. To argue which of the fallout series was best is irrelevant. Its been 10 years now and both are one and the same concept. Play both, enjoy both and marvel in a world that is astonishingly engrossing. A post-nuclear environment, dark, violent, and ...

Substance over blingbling
This is one of the top 10 rpg games of all time, some say the best. It is a testemant to why substance is so much greater than bling, and is considered one of the defining games of the genre. Of all the RPGs I have played, this is one of two that has a permanent spot of my Hard Disk (other being Torment). If you have never played it you owe it to yourself to do so, if only to see what makes ...

If only I still had the time..........
Icewind Dale is probably the best RPG I have ever played, althought Morrowind may be right there as well. I loved playing this game, all the way from creating my characters to completing the end-game content. One of my favorite parts of this game is in the haunted elven fortress, it is a very difficult place to get through, even for experienced gamers such as myself. This game is true to the ...

A reinvention of the Computer Role Playing Game. Brilliantly unique.
Fallout 1 and Fallout 2 are available in a cheap bundle pack, but the bundle apparently does not include the amazing game manuals. The Fallout games rank among the top few computer RPGs ever created. When the genre was in a slump, Fallout breathed fresh life into it. Fallout's originality, gritty post-apocalyptic environment, brilliant plot, and open-ended non-linear gameplay left an ...

A Decade Later, Still My Favorite
A little over a decade ago, I picked up Descent. I wasn't a big gamer at the time, prefering Mario games and whatnot. This game quite literally changed my whole outlook on things. The graphics have dated a bit, but are still much better than comparable games from the era. Much prettier and much smoother textures, than... say... DOOM. The gameplay is extremely memorable, and while the ...

Hello! Multiplayer Anyone?
I've been reading these reviews of Descent 3 and I'm shocked that most of the posts have been about the singleplayer. If you're looking for a singleplayer game, look somewhere else. The Descent 3 singleplayer is boring. I never even finished the singleplayer of my favorite game of all time. Multiplayer is what Descent 3 is all about. Forget Counterstrike. Forget Quake and Unreal. This game ...

A TREKKIE's DREAM GAME!
This game is great. Obviously the game has worn off in excitement since first buying it...but the first time you play it is undescribable. The first time you get it loaded and start playing you feel like you're a captain. As a trekkie, that was all I had ever wanted. And controlling every detail about the ship is just amazing. I'm serious, EVERY DETAIL. Probing, electronic warfare, weapon ...

So good I wish they would make another one
I love this game and have played it through a number of times over the years. Not only were the graphics really good for its time, the game play was intense, the story well constructed, music was good, ships were cool, and it had real character. Everything about it was excellent. I also really liked the mission creator and how you could set up all the ships and events to make a whole scenario. ...

Oct 2006 and it's still a great game.
I just reloaded and played this remarkable game again and it's still as fun and challenging as it was back a long long time ago. The graphics are still as strong as many of todays standards in my book. In fact it was a game ahead of it's time. It works on XP by the way. This is an RTS Adventure Action RPG type of game in my opinion. Each choice takes you in a different direction every ...

The Ultimate Space Fighter Game
I bought this game at Wal-Mart and I took it home and I was blown away by the details and realisim. I was happy that the game was based off of the Pentium 133 megahertz chip since that is what is in my system. Back to the game, The Great War DISKS! were the best games I ever played for PC. You start out as a fresh piliot and your first missions are traineing, so you get used to the controls. ...

No Pool Table in the House? No Problem!
If you're really into pool and billiards but can't afford to buy a table, don't fear. This game is simple excellent for simulating what happens on a pool table; all the physics are there! the game choice is great too, from straight pool to 8 and 9 ball to other games. Good call to include 1 and 3 cushion billiards too; they're great games. Even snooker is included. The career mode is good, ...
