It works!
My experience with VirusScan Plus has been good so far. I had a little trouble installing it and had to contact online customer support, but the wait time was minimal (less than 9 minutes) and they were able to send me a link to uninstall McAfee and reinstall it. Now it's working like a charm. I tried CA and Norton and so far this one seems to work the best.

Don't waste your time with the Plus version that gives you the backup options. I disabled it shortly after installing as it greatly increased the startup time. It seemed to do a complete backup check every time.
