I bought it to make disc images. It does what it says it does and then some. Lots of other applications that are fun to play with. One let me set up a multimedia server that could be seen by my PS3. Some is a bit technical and there are a lot of options so I would not recommend this for a novice user.

Outstanding Buy
This is an ousting buy. I have been using Studio for some time now and this is working greate. I have been able to put all of my navy vhs tapes to dvd. I am able to look back at the places I have been to without worrying about the tapes being damaged because they are too old.
