Absolutely loved it. Got rid of EZ CD 5
I bought version 3.0 and was able to download the patch, to upgrade my software to version 4.5. Smooth, easy and uneventful CD burning. No surprises. I had used EZ CD in the past. Version 4, then version 5. I found Recordnow Max a lot friendlier and so far, no problems when burning CD's. No "coasters" attributed to Recordnow.

I use this over the one I paid for
I used a photo of my cat for my photo CD. Everything printed exactly where I put it. I did get it for free. I emailed them to check if it was just a demo. It was the complete package. I was ready to pay for it. I use glossy paper, so my picture looked like a photo. Resizing for placement was easy. Lettering was easy. I am very satisfied. Lots of features.

I have been using the free version of software for years, and find it to be great. I didn't encounter any of the install issues noted, work in a Windows XP Pro environment, and it has been flawless. Compression information mismatch" error on Windows XP Home
V6.0 of this software is buggy in both compression modes, posting the following error: "Compression information mismatch [4886-1316]" Make sure you Verify your backup with this product! Very poor Support.

You can really make great labels with this software! You can nearly hide pictures on the label, so it looks like it's bleeding through. The 3d text can be twisted & manipulated many different ways. Backup Mypc
This product is very slow - 15 hrs for 58 GB is just to slow for me. To make matters worse, it doesn't recognize the full size of my Western Digital external USB HD. The program stops after writing 4GB of data. I'm looking for another backup program.
