Little Bill Thinks Big (DVD Box)2 reviews

Macintosh, Windows | Scholastic, 2003

Little Bill fans will love it!
My 2 1/2 year old has fallen in love with this game. He is advanced and enjoys his computer time. He pops in the disc himself, double clicks a desktop icon and away he goes into the world of Little Bill, his favorite Noggin character. I love that it is interactive and it's fun to listen to the little guy conversing with l'il Bill. I highly recommend this for pre-schoolers. Enjoy!!

I Spy Spooky Mansion Deluxe v2.0 w/I SPY Book & Bonus Mini CD-Rom13 reviews

Windows | Scholastic, 2007

spooky mansion review
Loved the item but felt like amazon tricked me into the shipping. Described as if by now will recieve by a certain date. Not true. You actually paid an outrageous amount for this shipping. I ended up paying more for shipping than for the actual product. Would have saved money driving and buying it at retail store. Buyer beware of tricky shipping!!!

Clifford The Big Red Dog Reading10 reviews

Macintosh, Windows | Scholastic, 2003

Great educational CD-rom
My son loves these CD-roms. He is almost 5 and plays them a lot. He is learning quite a bit. Plus, there are 3 different levels, so as he gets better, he gets more challenged. I'm impressed with this. My son is learning to read with this. He is recognizing words that he hasn't known before. I feel very good about letting him play this.

I Spy School Days (Ages 5-9)23 reviews

Windows | Scholastic, 2006

Great game that is educational too!
My 4 year old loves this game and I don't feel bad if she sits and does it for a while because it is educational as well. I was worried that it may be too hard for her since she is under the recommended age but she has not had a problem with it at all. In fact, she has discovered things on it that we didn't even know about.

Great for 3 to 5 year olds
Easy to use, educational and fun game for 3 to 5 year olds. My son, 7, is too mature for this game now, but he used to play it a lot and learned patterns, letter sounds, rhymes and counting. My daughter, 4, is very much into it and is learning the same things too.

I Spy Mystery1 review

Mac OS X, Windows | Scholastic, 2007

Top drawer medley of I Spy picture puzzles
I am so glad that I bought this computer game for my kids before reading the reviews on this site! Look, we don't have a lot of computer games and we had just recently discovered the I Spy books about 1 year ago. We loved them so much that I do believe we'd read nearly all of them before I saw this game for sale. This excellent little collection of picture puzzles is not repeated from the ...

Clifford the Big Red Dog: Phonics11 reviews

Macintosh, Windows | Scholastic, 2003

Trick your kids into learning
This game was purchased for a young girl aged 4 years 8 mo. She had very little computer experience, and a little phonic work in Pre-K. This game was right up her alley. Some of the tasks were easy, giving her a sense of mastery, but the difficulty level increases nice and slow and she didn't even realize. They mix in fun non-learning activities as a reward (decorating the float). As a ...

I Spy Spooky Mansion (Ages 6-10) (Win & Mac)49 reviews

Windows, Mac OS X | Scholastic, 2006

I Spy Spooky Mansion
Spooky but not scary - just the way little ones like it to be. Fun for kids and educational at the same time - teaches them to observe and teaches new words as they hunt for unfamiliar, perhaps, objects. Even my 3 year old grandson enjoys this.

I Spy Junior (Jewel Case)15 reviews

Macintosh, Windows | Scholastic, 2003

Holds interest
This was great for my 3 1/2 yr old. He can explore all by himself. He loves that it's similar to big brother's I Spy games. Things make silly noises when he clicks them to add interest and entertain.

These games included "Learn to Play Chess with Fritz and Chester", Madeline, Reader Rabbit, Amazon Trail, Reading Blaster, Where in the USA Carmen San Deigo, Carmen San Diego Junior Detective, and Leapster Leap-pad games. Out of thirty-some games, this is my six year old's favorite game. Every time she ...

I Spy - Fantasy2 reviews

Fantastic
I got this pc game when my grandson was 3. He is now almost 6 and he still digs it out when he comes over. His 3 year old sister now enjoys it too. Of course she needs help but she loves the mermaid adventure and the princess adventure. I also have I Spy Spooky Mansion and they love that one too. I even find the games fun to play. My 10 year old granddaughter enjoys them, as well. This is ...

Great game to help your child focus

I can not praise this software enough! My daughter has been struggling with math for a while now and I have tried many differnt books, games, toys, flash cards and much more. Microsoft Scholastic's The Magic School Bus Explores the Solar System (Jewel Case)23 reviews

Windows | Microsoft

Great game if you want to learn about marine biology!!
This is such a cool game! The Magic School Bus games are all quite good. I really like how you can visit many different ocean zones so you can see that not all parts of the ocean are alike. It is unique that you can "perform" your own science experiments on the same program that you can play fun games on. I like the game with the crab. :) If your child shows any interest in marine biology, I ...
