I say that the end of 2004, start of 2005 was the time to get a pimpin' new PC. I booted SuSE 7.2 on a partition with Windows 2000 many years ago and the result was not funny. If you choose to dual-boot a Windows Linux machine, then get two hard drives for it. Take a hint. XP2 should be on one of the hard drives. I tried the live CD version to see if any hardware problems I would have. Only the sound card was an issue. The manufacturer only had a driver for RH 7.3. No problem got it mostly for the server functions and it is going on a spare PC. Good product marginal documentation
This is my first exposure to linux. I read good things about SUSE Linux. It was fairly easy to install, though a more user friendly manual would have made the installation trivial. Now I have a new OS that works fine but I have to buy another book to understand it. If you know Linux this may be a great product. If you don't, well, don't expect much help from the documentation.
