Might be too easy for some kids
My daughter went through the entire exercises in one afternoon. This CD-ROM might be more of a challenge for 1st grade students. She did enjoy the exersices, and it was a great way for her to practice her computer skills. Overall she enjoys reviewing the material on the disc. Great for beginning readers.

Jump Start 2nd Grade
My 7 year old loves this game - all 3 cds are great. He especially loves the mystery aspect of the game - it reminds me of the Carmen Sandiego mysteries I played as a kid. It also is a bit challenging - it includes the stuff that will be in his 2nd grade class.
