Unreal Tournament III47 reviews

Windows | Midway, 2007

WAY Better than TF2!!!!
I just bought TF2 and what a piece of cr@p! UT3 is actually FUN! Definitely try the demos of each before you buy. I wish I had and not wasted $20 on TF2. Here is a game of TF2 in a nutshell: Pick a cool looking character that you can imagine you'll have all kinds of fun with. Run out and get shot by the crazy mayhem in the first 30 seconds. Wait 22 seconds. Repeat. That;s it, that's the ...

Mass Effect129 reviews

Windows | Electronic Arts, 2008

Wow a review based on actual game content!
Ok I'm tired of all these BS reviews. Last I checked reviews on games and other media are suppose be based on the actual content. On rants and raves about your technical ineptness. Mass Effect is a great action/RPG. The plot and story is deep and and universe is expansive. The gameplay is challenging but satisfying. The dialogue and voice acting bring the characters to life and make them more ...

Nancy Drew: The Phantom of Venice13 reviews

Windows | Her Interactive, 2008

The best yet!
This is the first Nancy Drew game i didnt have to used hints on lol. Im not saying that it is easier than any of the others cause it was a quite difficult at times. But theres a lot more to in this game than any of the other ones (i think)plus ive actually gone back to replay it so as to gain all of the awards at the end which is indeed a challenge. If you loved the last edition then you'll LOVE ...

Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords202 reviews

Windows | LucasArts Entertainment, 2005

Deep, Interesting, Fun Game
The biggest thing I did not like about this game was trying to play it the second time through. Much of what I did was an exact repeat of before, just because the plot must advance the way it does. It just seems like, with such a complex game, they could have made more variety in it. But that's not a big drawback - certainly the first KOTOR did not have nearly as much variety as this one. The ...

Baldur's Gate 2: Ultimate Collection (Shadows of Amn and Throne of Bhaal)85 reviews

Windows | Vivendi Universal, 2003

My First Video/Computer/RPG Game!
After many years of listening to people talk online about the greatness that is Baldur's Gate, and gaming in particular, I finally decided to pick one up. I had been warned that they are surprisingly addictive, but at 42, and having been game-free since the first Atari came out in the 80s (Think Space Invaders), I was pretty sure I'd only find it mildly interesting. Oh, was I wrong. Once I ...

Myst 10th Anniversary DVD Edition92 reviews

Macintosh, Windows | Ubisoft, 2003

Myst 10th Anniversary DVD Edition
My friend got me hooked on the Myst games with this so I had to buy it for my self so I could play it whenever I wanted. So far Myst III: Exile is my favorite but the first two are fun as well.

World Of Warcraft Expansion: Burning Crusade160 reviews

Windows, Macintosh | Blizzard Entertainment, 2007

Amazing game!
With over 157 reviews this hardly needs my imput but I feel compelled to warn people... this game is highly addictive! The graphics and user interface is so liquid you feel as if you are really there.. and somehow this alternate reality becomes real. You are there. I'm hooked!

Assassin's Creed: Director's Cut Edition25 reviews

Windows | Ubisoft, 2008

Has a Few Flaws and no Ending but UBISOFT is Working on a Sequel
Assassin's Creed is one of the best games I've played, but it has several flaws that I hope they correct in the sequel. The main flaw in Assassin's Creed is that there isn't enough variety and planning in the assassinations. Most of the time it is impossible to get to your target without fighting your way through the guards so planing and stealth doesn't help much in the actual ...

Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures140 reviews

Mailing service
The mailing service from Amazon to a mailing address in Germany was awesome. I have a APO address and I ordered the item on 4th of July which was a Friday. And had the product in my mailbox by Tuesday. If that isn't service I don't know what is.

Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures19 reviews

Windows | LucasArts Entertainment, 2008

Great game
I bought this game for my youngest son's 9th birthday. He and his 13-year-old brother play for one hour a day in the co-op mode, and would play all afternoon if I let them. He thanks me on a daily basis for what he calls "the best game in the world." My middle son has the Lego Star Wars v. 1 & 2 games, and loves them just as much, so all are winners.

Neverwinter Nights 2 Gold7 reviews

Windows | Atari, 2008

Good..not great
First of all lemme say what this game COULD have been and SHOULD have been. It SHOULD have been better than Baldurs Gate 2, and with significant party AI fixing and a proper top down camera mode it actually would be IMHO. But sadly the only way to play the thing is with the AI turned off completely. And if you must turn off the ai then it needs a round-by-round strategic mode.Something that ...

Sherlock Holmes: Nemesis12 reviews

Windows | Dreamcatcher Interactive, 2008

Quirky, funny, a blast!
Sherlock Holmes: Nemesis is a real challenge for clever gamers, but it is very hard, and I resorted to using a walkthrough (MaGtRo) because without it, I would not have gotten through the thing. If you miss one clue or item you're supposed to pick up, you're stymied. I was unable to pick up two items in the armory and it took me two hours of back tracking to figure out why: I had missed picking ...

Company of Heroes: Gold Edition6 reviews

Windows | THQ, 2008

Excellent Game
Both of them COH and COH:OF, are great games! I have play a large number of real time strategy games and this series is the most fun and realistic ones I ever play. There are four Forces to play with, the American, the British, the German Werhmack and the SS Panzer Elite, where each one of these forces has 3 different ways of specialization. I must admit that at the beginning I believe that ...

Sid Meier's Pirates!55 reviews

Windows | 2K Games, 2005

Outstanding game play!
Sid Meirs is genius. This game will give you many hours of intense game play. I wish there were more games of this quality to enjoy, instead of the mindless shoot-em-up stuff that makes up 90% of the games sold. I love the open endness of the game which allows the player to enter the game as not only a pirate but a trader or Spanish raider. It's also educational for younger players; teaching ...

Star Wars Republic Commando9 reviews

Windows | LucasArts Entertainment, 2007

overlooked game
This is a game I've had since it came out originally in 2005, and I keep coming back to it. The action is great, the graphics hold up well, and the squad controls (and the squad members themselves) are brilliant and very easy to use. This game also holds the distinction of being the only shooter I've died in because I was laughing at something (fortunately dying is no big deal since your squad ...

Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War Soulstorm27 reviews

Windows | THQ, 2008

A Great Sequal But Bring The Power
I have loved the Warhammer 40K Dawn of War series. They've brought a futuristic setting in a blood lust Strategy game. Kind of an RTS on crack if you'd ask me. The gameplay is very cool, lots of gore and interaction. With Campaign and Skirmish modes, you can decide to rule the galaxy or just battle it out with your enemies. I personally like the Total War games better, because more ...

Nancy Drew: The Legend of the Crystal Skull37 reviews

Windows | Her Interactive, 2007

More Than I Expected
I have every Nancy Drew game, because I think they are really interesting! The Legend of the Crystal Skull ended up being much better than I originally thought. It gives you a good feel for New Orleans and the tasks are actually fun. The only one I did not like was the riddles with answers on gravestones. They were beyond me! This game is great for kids and adults!

Art of Murder: FBI Confidential

Windows | City Interactive, 2008

Imagine you are a rookie FBI agent in Art of Murder: FBI Confidential. Your first assignment is to solve a grisly series of murders that target prominent and wealthy members of the community. The killer's M.O. features a disturbing calling card: the apparently ritualistic removal of the victim's heart with an implement more suited to display in a museum than use for amateur dissection. The gruesome trail begins in New York City but the clues ...

Nancy Drew: The White Wolf of Icicle Creek66 reviews

Windows | Her Interactive, 2007

Games
I just started playing mystery games and am addicted to them now. But if I ever had a problem with the game I would send it back and there would be no problem of a replacement. I would buy over and over. I am very pleased with the products and the company.j So of course I will be back.
