It works
This version of Norton has finally gotten rid of all the things that slowed down my computer in the past and had me leave Norton. It does an idle time scan which means that it never needs to take a big block of time when I might want to use the computer, to do the scan. Well done Norton.

Time for a switch
I have been a user of Zone Alarm for the last three years switching to them when I had become frustrated with Norton products. Well after reading some reviews and noticing my laptop slowing down on booting and virus scans I made the switch to Norton Internet Security 2009 and I couldn't be happier. Don't want viruses or spyware on your machine. AVG is the answer!
AVG software is the best antivirus/ antispyware available. We use it at our office after Norton didn't catch 9 or 10 viruses on our computers.....We went to AVG and after 2 years NO VIRUSES OR SPYWARE ON our computers + the price and 2 years subscription is unbeatable. I feel our network is protected from deadly viruses and Trojan horses. If you want protect, you need AVG.

I recommend the spy sweeper and antivirus blend as it gives the best protection. The vendor I bought this through provided excellent service. Norton Works Well for PPC Mac
Norton AntiVirus v.11.0 works great for my PPC G5 Mac running 10.4.11. It installed without any issues, and it's cheap insurance considering all the threats on the Internet. I haven't found any viruses yet, but I do transfer files from my Win XP system - there I've found several in the past year. Bottom line - good peace of mind.
