Well worth the money.
This program offers just about everything a musician would want to do with music. The Learning curve is high, but the excellent tutorials will teach you all you need to know. It just takes time. I love the conversion of songs to chord structures. The only draw back is it only does .mp3 or .wav files. If you have iTunes and your music is .aa files you have to convert them. this program is great and easy to use and good for either composing or for learning songs. almost any song you want is available tabbed out and free for download online. the CD i got didnt install right and threw errors, but you can download it using the product key that comes with the CD.

A Jazz Player
Simply put, this is a kickass product. I dig the "big piano" which helps with left hand / right hand position. Since I purchased this item, my playing has improved 10-fold over the last 3-months. Now I realize I went too long playing solo. A backing band is what I needed and now it's what I got when I come home from the old day job and plunk the ebony and ivories.

A great idea!
The Rock Box really does what it says. Having a nearby place to keep my RockBand equipment makes my family room look neater but still keeps everything close and convenient. Lined individual spaces for the accessories. The drum-set extension makes my game easy to use from the sofa. With the top closed, it is a nice-looking piece of furniture as well. Very well thought-out, and a great idea.

Don't waste your money
I was very disappointed with this product. As others have stated, most of the loops are sounds you probably wouldn't even use in the first place. Apples jam packs have much better loops. If your looking for some good loops I would look elsewhere.

This is stated to be a Mac version in the title, in the platform requirements, and in the product description! Four times in all. I can't believe three computer literate people gave such an excellent software program a poor rating because THEY failed to read the description. I have used Band In A Box since it first came out and is perfect for what it does!
