This game is teh awesomez
This game is my childhood. I played this game so much as a kid. It was fun then and it's still damn fun now. I don't care what age you are, you will love this game. Although the above reviewer may disagree, the powerups add to the game immensely, since it's a less serious atmosphere than normal baseball (and is better for it). If you go into the game expecting pure fun rather than a nitty-gritty ...

Do not overpay
The users that are shamefully selling this game at astronomical prices should be shot. There is no reason for this game to be priced so high other than the fact that one or two desperate people actually paid such a high price. If you look hard enough, you can find it for much, much less. I just bought one, brand new, on eBay for $32. I am pretty sure the most recent seller on this site, the ...

perfect condition, ontime delivery
I purchased this game for my son. We'd been looking for it for a while. I was a bit skeptical given it's low cost, but I was totally surprised! It arrived sooner than expected and in great condition. Very impressed.

Best ever baseball game on the PC
This is the best baseball game I have ever played on the pc. I've been stuck playing baseball mogul for the past 5+ years, which is alright since I like simulation games, but you can't actually "play" that game. This game is a vast improvement from the garbage 2k has put out in the past on the pc. If you have a good pc and you are willing to spend $10 on a Xbox 360 controller then I recommend ...

A Decent Experience
I'm a huge baseball fan and bought this game to pass whatever free time I had in Afghanistan. This isn't a gaming experience that will keep you up into the wee-hours of the morning or make you worship the ground that 2K walks on, but for a computer sports game (which have been terribly bad for forever), its a decent play that should keep you interested for a bit. Make sure you have a decent ...

Best baseball Simulation ever, period.
First, if you are not familiar with the game, it is text based, so it won't have all the fancy graphics you get from the console games. But if your concern is accuracy and realism, then this is the game to get. Gameplay There are numerous ways to play OOTP. You can choose to control everything, from trading, signing free agents, drafting rookies, etc.. You can sim though your games for ...

Very Fun, Surprizingly Deep
I bought this game because I was looking for old games to run on my 2003 XP computer. This one runs like a charm. It's definitely kid friendly but adults are nothing but big kids anyway and I enjoy playing this game. In season mode if you try and gain a few skills you can beat the cpu every time. But you have to try because the cpu does not always throw you strikes, and it does not always make it ...

Better than I thought
I found a copy of this game at Target for only $10. I really like this game a lot. I think this game is made for all ages, 7 and up that is. I can play this game all day. Some of it was hard to do at first but I'm glad I got it because I love Peanuts!!!!!!!!!!!!! By the way even though this review is from July this review was made 11/10/08.

My Autistic son loves all the Backyard games. The game is straight forward and easy to play. It is hard to find games that engage and are simple for a child with a disablity. The Skateboard game doesn't work on my son's Windows 2000 program but it loads real well on Windows XP.

NOT for XP
It's a great game if you have equipment old enough to run it on. The description says it will run on xp, it IS WRONG!!! This game will no how, no way run on xp. I and many others have tried all sorts of compatibility modes, emulators, etc, no way. When I contacted the seller being all irate and stuff, I was informed the description is put up there by Amazon, and it is indeed in error. Refunded ...

To cute!
My son got this for Christmas also and to see all the pros as little kids AND cartoons I love these series of games, plus they are not hard to navigate the game. My little one likes to play them with his big brother and now we even bought the baseball one for GBA.

Overall, quite good
After being thoroughly impressed by HHB 2003, I decided to try this version. Overall, I think HHB 2004 is great. The developer did make a few big mistakes in porting this game from the console version, but the gameplay is better than before, at least on the field. Gameplay: This is the best version of the game yet, at least on the diamond. The new graphics look wonderful: players appear more ...

SO COOL
I LUV Dynasty Mode...and the "Classic Stadiums" option was the greatest ever. I've always wondered what it would feel like to have a 2004 game played and/or broadcast at Crosley Field or Shibe Park (Cincinnati and Philly for you younger rhubarb fans). I have played as the Twins and have had Morneau and Hunter both hit more than 30 HR's before the All-Star break. What's this about Left Handed ...
