Great
My sons have spent hours creating their civilizations. This game seems to be very entertaining.

Pirates! ROCKS
From playing this game back on the Sega Genesis to the computer version to even now this game rocks. There are too numerous adventures to play. Hours upon hours of cutlass swinging, mast breaking, treasure finding, relative rescuing fun. Can't beat.

Well Done, Individual Software, but...
Basically, this is a package containing 3 CDs chock full of tutorials on a number of programs like Macromedia Flash, Adobe Photoshop, as well as HTML fundamentals/advanced HTML. It could potentially save you hundreds and thousands of dollars spent on real-world courses of the same nature. Of course, you have to have plenty of free time in order to really get the most out of Web Pages & Graphics ...

"buy this instead of spore."
I believe that after seeing the reviews for spore I decided not to get it. apparently it is ILLEGAL to play this game with someone else or lend it to them. so that means ONLY you can play it. it also causes problems on your computer, causing your computer to crash, freeze etc.. civ III is a fun game and does allow other people to play it. I highly reccomend this game.

A reinvention of the Computer Role Playing Game. Brilliantly unique.
Fallout 1 and Fallout 2 are available in a cheap bundle pack, but the bundle apparently does not include the amazing game manuals. The Fallout games rank among the top few computer RPGs ever created. When the genre was in a slump, Fallout breathed fresh life into it. Fallout's originality, gritty post-apocalyptic environment, brilliant plot, and open-ended non-linear gameplay left an ...

Fantasy Wars
Back in the 90's, there was a game called 'Fantasy General'. I loved that game. Fantasy Wars IS Fantasy General (gameplay) with current graphics. This game is tough. This game requires thought and strategy. I love it. This is the best game I've bought in 10 years. In Fantasy General, you fought through 5 continents as one campaign. Here, you fight as a human leader, Orc leader ...

Holy Spacemonkeys!
Space Rangers 2 is pure fun. It reminds me of an old game named Privateer that ran on DOS. You run around the galaxy in your spaceship fighting, trading, doing small missions and buying upgrades for your ship. You can play the game as a fighter, merchant or pirate. Part of the game includes a StarCraft like element where you fight in a real-time strategy mode, but for those who don't like ...

Pity My Wife, the Civ II Widow, Again
See my original Civilization II review from way back in 2001, after having played the game for close to five years. I bought Civ III and again Civ IV within days of their release, ran all the way home with them clutched to my chest, and dropped them right into the PC, so eager to get the latest, most awesomely updated, so incredibly tweakified versions up and running. In both instances I was ...

One of my new favorites
I was looking for a new type of strategy game to play, as I was getting bored with my others. I searched Amazon repeatedly without finding anything that interested me or that I hadn't already played into the ground. I came across Making History, and read all of the reviews... soon after, I visited the website. Based primarily off the 5 star reviews of this game, I bought it. When this game ...

Still the best, after all these years
This is still he best Civilization game even though it is not called that. I own all Civs and all expansions and while I like Civ IV immensely, this is the most playable. The factions are truly different. Playing with Gaia, for example, requires completely different strategy. The units can be designed as you wish, a feature that doesn't exist in any other version of Civ. You can create your own ...

Macro Management fun!
After playing for quite a while I have found that this game is very entertaining and is hugely replayable. While the 3D star map does take some getting used to, the simple tech tree and simplified system development controls free the player to think about strategy, instead of micromanaging every single colony. It reminds of Master of Orion, rather than Master of Orion II or III. Real time ...

Daylite 3 - Much improved
I had first tried Daylite several years ago when I returned to the Mac platform. The one application I really missed from the PC world was ACT. Although I thought Daylight was interesting, the learning curve was really steep - (it is sold without a printed manual - which you can order at an extra cost. - You do get a PDF version of their manual and a good help interface). After a while, I ...

THE BEST competition FPS game ever created.
I bought this game when I had an old Pentium II back in 1999. It was just simply fun, just fire and kill the other guy, not the fancy hi-tech, complicated thing that this genre has become. I wasted many hours playing online with people all over the world!. The best FPS to play online ever created. Period.

Solitary Wargamer's Delight
Not so long ago, hex-based wargamers faced daunting challenges including set-up time, playing space and quality opponents. These challenges forced most of us as adults to shelve our passion, content with the memories of high school and college "gamer clubs." Fortunately, thanks to the dedication of tireless developers, we can now trade our cardboard counters for the lure of a glowing screen. ...
