Great educational CD-rom
My son loves these CD-roms. He is almost 5 and plays them a lot. He is learning quite a bit. Plus, there are 3 different levels, so as he gets better, he gets more challenged. I'm impressed with this. My son is learning to read with this. He is recognizing words that he hasn't known before. I feel very good about letting him play this.

DRM is NOT an issue!
First of all, I think the whole DRM issue has gotten way out of hand. I certainly had no problems at all. I installed it just like a sims game, with the code and stuuf. Heck, if I didn't read all of the lame 1 star reviews on Amazon, I probably wouldn't even know there was DRM! This fabulous game shouldn't be getting 1 star just because of DRM. And some of these people have not even played the ...

Little Bill fans will love it!
My 2 1/2 year old has fallen in love with this game. He is advanced and enjoys his computer time. He pops in the disc himself, double clicks a desktop icon and away he goes into the world of Little Bill, his favorite Noggin character. I love that it is interactive and it's fun to listen to the little guy conversing with l'il Bill. I highly recommend this for pre-schoolers. Enjoy!!

Even more fun than the first version!
I was disappointed that I had to buy Big Kahuna Reef 2 because Big Kahuna Reef quit working when I re-fomatted my computer. However, I am so glad I did because it is even more fun than the first version. I am not a person that usually gets addicted to video games, but this game is a great way to relax and zone out at the end of a work day. It is not one of those games that requires a lot of ...

An awesome game
There are a lot of great first person shooter games out there, but NOLF 2 is one of the best. The graphics are very good (9/10) and the storyline is great and you don't feel like you're getting lost and confused (10/10). The game is also "long enough," having 15 chapters that you can't just blow through in a few minutes. In fact, a few of the chapters are fairly long, which I find good in a game. ...

Totally addicted
I am thoroughly addicted to this game!!!!! I'm not the type to spend hours at games on my computer, but this one has changed all that. I spend every available minute trying to go from one level to another. I like the challenge of the different items that need to be "unchained" before they can be cleared off the board. I also enjoy the backround swimming fish and the ability to choose the ones ...

Trick your kids into learning
This game was purchased for a young girl aged 4 years 8 mo. She had very little computer experience, and a little phonic work in Pre-K. This game was right up her alley. Some of the tasks were easy, giving her a sense of mastery, but the difficulty level increases nice and slow and she didn't even realize. They mix in fun non-learning activities as a reward (decorating the float). As a ...

Great for 3 to 5 year olds
Easy to use, educational and fun game for 3 to 5 year olds. My son, 7, is too mature for this game now, but he used to play it a lot and learned patterns, letter sounds, rhymes and counting. My daughter, 4, is very much into it and is learning the same things too.

Awesome concept to keep kids into learning their multiplication
I was so happy to find this on the Internet, and my 8 year old daughter is learning her times, happily for a change. We have the free version, and while we are extremely grateful that Big Brainz offers a free version, it does get a little boring going through the same environment on each level. I want to get her the upgraded version that has all the different rooms but cannot see spending $40 on ...

Supernatural Amusements
Supernatural Amusements Pros: 1. Compelling characters -- Delaware St. John and Kelly Bradford -- on a quest to investigate supernatural events in a deserted amusement park, once the scene of a terrible tragedy. 2. Snowy, nocturnal environments, spooky light effects, haunting atmosphere. A Ferris wheel, funhouse and grinning clown statues with dark, feral beings lurking in the shadows. ...

Off to Australia!
This was an interesting game mainly because of the facts presented with each location used in the game. I'd love to go to Australia and visit these places in person. I'm new to these "find the object" games, but I think difficulty of finding all the objects was simple enough for just about anybody, even a child. the graphics are clear and a lot of the objects ere cleverly drawn "within" other ...

Big Buck Hunter
After a 700 mb install, you still have to have the disc in the drive. The copy protection sceme is annoying on this game. If you double click on the desktop icon and half the time even with the disc in the drive, it will say you have not inserted the original disc in the drive or it doesn't recognize the disc. Best thing to do is insert the disc, let it spin up, and then dlick on the desktop ...

Really Great!
Our children, 2, 3 & 4, are just getting to know the computer. We've tried a couple different programs and this is by FAR the best. Our 4 year old is enthralled. He loves it, and I don't mind playing with him. The younger kids play it, but not as independently as the oldest. I think this means its a program we'll be playing a year from now. Can't say that about any of the other programs we have.

Civilation III
Absolutely addictive, better than Sim City, rather than building a city, you get to build an empire with CivIII. Tried Civ Complete but found it more difficult to play though the added features were great. In Civilization III, you start with a dark world you have to send explorers out to discover. Build as many cities as you can, trying to add as many luxury items (wine, spice, silk, etc) and ...
