Reader Rabbit Math Adventure Ages 6-9 (Jewel Case)16 reviews

Macintosh, Windows | The Learning Company, 2001

Really good for a second grader!
My twin daughters were given this gift (math adventure ages 6-9) for x-mas when they were barely six years old. At the time, this game was WAY too advanced for them, and it actually irritated me because I had to help them out so much with it. Zip forward a few years and they are now eight years old and in the second grade. I put this game on a few days ago and was amazed at how useful it is now. ...

Reader Rabbit Learn to Read with Phonics! Preschool - Kindergarten2 reviews

Windows, Macintosh, Mac OS 9 and below, ... | Riverdeep Interactive

Great Program
THe programs were perfect for my daughter. The price I paid beats going out to the local stores or signing her up for a computer class.

Art of Murder: FBI Confidential7 reviews

Windows | City Interactive, 2008

Fun Game!
I thoroughly enjoyed this game and was sad when it ended. Yes, it was linear but it helped me from getting completely confused. I'm a gamer that finds all the clues first in all areas and eventually have to find a way to use them. If you don't find all the clues than you must before you can get to the next level. There were a few spots that I had to use a walkthrough, if I didn't I would have ...

SpongeBob Squarepants Typing Win/Mac (Jewel Case)17 reviews

Awesome
Great product. The kids love the animation and the familiar characters. They ASK to play it. I don't have to argue with them to practice their typing.

LEARNING COMPANY Oregon Trail 5th Edition (Windows/Macintosh)32 reviews

Windows, Mac OS X, Mac OS 9 and below | The Learning Company

I like Oregon Trail
I'm a 9 year old boy and I like Oregon Trail. You learn a lot about the trail and life on it. You learn the hard life of sickness, snake bites, gunshots, fishing, double -teaming the animals, gathering, hunting, bear and couger injuries in the process of hunting, and shopping and trails. I like going to salt lake city insted of Oregon City because I can never make it to Oregon. I always die of ...

Murder in the Abbey6 reviews

Windows | Dreamcatcher Interactive, 2008

The Abbey
The Abbey This is a traditional point-and-click adventure set within the confines of a monastery. You play as Leonardo, delivering the king's son, Bruno, to the abbey. Installation is long, roughly 30 minutes, and initially without indication that anything is happening. Once installed there is no requirement to have the game disk (DVD) in the drive while playing. The game detects your ...

Microsoft Office Small Business 2007 FULL VERSION22 reviews

Windows | Microsoft Software, 2007

All Hail Microsoft
All the haters are just a bunch of weirdo computer geeks who complain about software, but could never write anything better themselves. They should focus on getting a date and leave Microsoft alone. This is a well thought out product and you should be happy that you purchased it. I sure am!

Microsoft Office Standard 2007 FULL VERSION54 reviews

Windows | Microsoft Software, 2007

Great Product
A long time user of Office, I was worried by all the reports of how difficult the transition to 2007 would be. Well, with maybe 20 minutes of exploring, and making sure where the new commands were, I was pleased and impressed with the new approach. For nearly all commands, it is easier to find what you are looking for. Right clicking for the new context menus is now much more helpful. So I give ...

Zoombinis Logical Journey123 reviews

Macintosh, Windows | The Learning Company, 2001

New MacOS installation software in 2005 version
My five year old grandson and I have had a wonderful time playing with this game. We learned a lot about logic, and we learned that we have different learning styles. The 2005 version which I got from Amazon (see separate listing) has a Mac OS X installer which installed this game flawlessly in less than a minute. I have no experience with the 2001 version. Jumpstart 1st Grade Classic (PC & Mac)3 reviews

Windows, Mac OS X, Mac OS 9 and below | Knowledge Adventure, 2005

Educational entertainment for the kids!!!
My daughter "begged" to have this program after she used it at school and it's become a favorite of my 4 year-old son as well. It builds basic skills by helping children to explore one step at a time, and encourages learning with graphics, enchanting characters, and storylines that keep them coming back for more. IMHO, this was a product well worth buying.

My Nine Year Old Son Couldn't Stop Playing It
I was very happy to find that my nine year old son loved playing this CD. It's running on our Windows XP and we had no installation or operation problems. It was challenging for him but so much fun for him too! I'd buy it again definitely!

I Spy Spooky Mansion (Ages 6-10) (Win & Mac)49 reviews

Windows, Mac OS X | Scholastic, 2006

I Spy Spooky Mansion
Spooky but not scary - just the way little ones like it to be. Fun for kids and educational at the same time - teaches them to observe and teaches new words as they hunt for unfamiliar, perhaps, objects. Even my 3 year old grandson enjoys this.

John Deere North American Farmer13 reviews

Windows | Destineer, 2006

I Love This Game!
This game is not for everyone, I have to say. But I loved it! It is a farm sim where you plant and harvest a variety of crops, raise livestock, hire workers, build farm buidlings, and buy John Deere farm equipment. I have lived in the city my whole life, but I also enjoy simulation and strategy games. I also like finances and accounting. For those who are looking for action packed, ...

Freddi Fish 3: The Case of The Stolen Conch Shell8 reviews

Windows | Humongous Entertainment

Best CD Series for ages 3.5-7
I have 3 kids and this set (Freddy Fish 1-5) has been the most popular of all of the CD-ROMs we own and is still going strong after 3 years. These are absolutely awesome. This is an interesting and interactive game in which kids do "detective" work and it also features a few basic arcade-type games during the search. Get it, your little ones will LOVE it!
