My five year old grandson and I have had a wonderful time playing with this game. We learned a lot about logic, and we learned that we have different learning styles. The 2005 version which I got from Amazon (see separate listing) has a Mac OS X installer which installed this game flawlessly in less than a minute. I have no experience with the 2001 version. Educational entertainment for the kids!!!
My daughter "begged" to have this program after she used it at school and it's become a favorite of my 4 year-old son as well. It builds basic skills by helping children to explore one step at a time, and encourages learning with graphics, enchanting characters, and storylines that keep them coming back for more. IMHO, this was a product well worth buying.

This was the first ND game that I've played, but it was AWESOME!!! The graphics, plot, puzzles, etc. were all really great. I especially liked the ending scene. It was packed with action and wrapped up the game really well. Overall, it was just a great game!

Best CD Series for ages 3.5-7
I have 3 kids and this set (Freddy Fish 1-5) has been the most popular of all of the CD-ROMs we own and is still going strong after 3 years. These are absolutely awesome. This is an interesting and interactive game in which kids do "detective" work and it also features a few basic arcade-type games during the search. Get it, your little ones will LOVE it!
