So good it almost got me divorced...
I spent a lot of time playing this game. Think Morrowind in a post-apocalyptic Washington DC, and that's what this game is about. If you aren't a fan of long dialogues and storylines this may not be the game for you. If you like a nice mix of action, adventure, and role-playing this game should be on your short list. It's one of my top games of all time.

This Game is fun!
This game is awesome. I love the flexibility of the create a creature mode and its fun to go around killing creatures and taking over the universe! Its a great game especially if you're into biology and the theory of molecular evolution like I am. This game allows you to use a wide range of imagination! I love that!

Best MMO in years!
Warhammer Online is a great game. It's only been out for a short time now and already has over 1 million subscribers. The RvR (or Realm versus Realm) experience take player versus player combat to a new level. There's a game here for everyone, whether you like to play alone, with groups against the game or with groups against other people. They are already about to release several new ...

The game is great, the clock is junk.
The game is great. It is in DESPERATE need of patching though so save often! Mine crashes out at least one to three times every 4-6 hours of play. Another issue you may have is certain important NPC's will randomly die. I've seen this twice so far. Other than that the game is GREAT. In this edition, the bobblehead, book and lunchbox are all nice but the "clock" is a piece of junk. Don't ...

Game good, DRM bad
The game is good if you like action RPGs e.g. Titan Quest or Diablo 2. i.e. your idea of roleplaying is killing the monsters and taking their loot, as opposed to plot-based and social RPGs like Baldurs Gate or Neverwinter Nights. In terms of stacking up against the competition, it's playable and looks good. I don't yet know if it has the same depth that Diablo II had but it certainly has more ...

If you loved the original Colonization, you will love this one more.
As a fan of the original Colonization, I always wondered why they never built a sequel or had any type of continuation to the game... well with this release I am pleased to say that Sid Meier and Firaxis have done an outstanding job of remaining true to the original game while significantly enhancing the game with improved graphics on the CIV-4 Engine. For those of you who like playing with ...

I am enjoying the game...
I am playing Red Alert 3 on a quad core, Vista 64 machine with 4 gig of RAM. I enjoy the Command and Conquer games and have played the other Red Alerts. I am playing through the first of three episodes in the game. I am currently playing the "Russian" faction. The actor Tim Curry, from the Rocky Horror Picture Show, is the head of Russia, and pops up from time to time to cheer or jeer. ...

The complainers are IDIOTS! (Fallout 3 Survival Edition)
After reading all the posts, I was chomping at the bit worring that my Survival Edition was not worth the $, and my clock was cheap crap. Well, I have one thing to say..I LOVE MY SURVIVAL EDITION!!! The Pipboy3000 is absoutly the COOLIST!!! the giger counter in the upper left is actually made from a compass! (it works too!) the knob moves, the slider wheel moves, the buttons under the ...

Mucho Funno
That big whooshing sound is the sound of my life whizzing by as I sit completely absorbed into this game. Lots of fun, endless hours of gameplay, and guarranteed to annoy your wife / significant other / house pets. Tip: You're not going to be able to jump in and play out of the box (the game has a steep (but rewarding) learning curve. Go to Civilization Fanatics Forums on the web to get ...

Fun, borderline addictive, and even educational!
We gave this game to our teenage son for Christmas a couple of years ago. It's interesting to note that he (and I) still play the game on a regular basis. Just in case you are not aware of this game, here's the premis: You are a young man living in the 1600s (you choose whether you play starting in the 1620s, 1640s, 1660s, or 1680s), and members of your family have been kidnapped by the ...

Very fun and engrossing
I've been playing this game for 6 months (since Jan 2008), logging over 300 hours of game-play (which it tracks for you), and it is still my favorite game. Before this game, I played SimCity 4 and CivCity: Rome. (BTW, I also tried SimCity Societies, but I don't even consider that a game, and so you will hear no more mention of it here). The game is more fun than all other city-builder games ...

Old School RPG Greatness!!!
King's Bounty is the best turn based strategy game since X-Com came out in 1993. It works on XP and Vista 32-bit. There may be problems with Vista 64-bit. Concept: King's bounty is a great mix of turn based strategy, adventure, and RPG elements. You explore a world and find items to increase your stats and gather troops for your army. If you encounter enemies, you battle them in ...

"buy this instead of spore."
I believe that after seeing the reviews for spore I decided not to get it. apparently it is ILLEGAL to play this game with someone else or lend it to them. so that means ONLY you can play it. it also causes problems on your computer, causing your computer to crash, freeze etc.. civ III is a fun game and does allow other people to play it. I highly reccomend this game.

Civ Rules
Been playing Civ since the first edition back in the mid 90s when I bought my first puter. Love this game and Civ IV just proves that it's one of the best games ever! Sooner or later, I'll order Civ V, just haven't done it yet. Still having too much fun with IV and it's expansion.

Best Strategy Game Ever
This game is great for all strategy lovers. Don't be turned off by thinking that it takes too much micro management as most decision making in the game can be made automated, allowing you to enjoy the parts of the game that appeal directly to you. Or, you can take control of everything and see how a civilization performs under your management. With several different ways to win, you can avoid ...

Fantastic, Underrated Game
I have no idea how this is averaging only three stars, because Civ IV (along with Beyond the Sword) is without a doubt the most balanced and entertaining turn-based strategy games ever made, and a serious contender for the best PC title released this decade. This game is not for you if you: - don't like time-intensive games that you'll almost certainly not finish in one sitting - don't like ...

very enjoyable game with no Securom or DRM, thats good!
hours of play with interesting strategy and great tech tree. Can turn into a bit of a frustrating war of attrition on the really big maps though. There will soon be micro expansions available with the first one adding space stations that looks like it will add some real replayability All in all it's well worth the money.
