Universe At War: Earth Assault

Good mechanics, interesting gameplay
Universe At War is a fairly accomplished RTS that presents enough new and unique elements to keep the game from becoming "just another RTS". The three factions are different enough to add a fair amount of variety in the campaigns. The graphics for Universe At War are pretty good with the giant walkers, laser weapons, and massive explosions providing some pleasing eye-candy. The ...

Good Sequel; Better With Expansions
I first received this game about 2 years ago as a birthday present. From then on it has evolved to become my standard of a good RTS. The graphical, and game play improvement over AO2 is amazing. The home city is a vast improvement over AO2, and forces you to specialize in one civilization in order to unlock all of their advantages. My brothers also enjoy this game, so when they play me over our ...

Great Game for those willing to learn
Supreme Commander has forever changed the way RTS will be played, mostly due to its strategic zoom, but also due to its sheer depth of scale and strategy/tactic options (these pertain more to Forged Alliance than they do to the original SupCom). For those who are familiar with Total Annihilation, this game is a must have, as it surpasses what TA accomplished in just about every way imaginable. Be ...

Great multiplayer not so great single player
Enemy Territory: Quake Wars is a great multi-player game, probably one of the best multi-player games I've played in a while. The reason is that I like it so much as a multi player is that it's not just deathmatch; you have to work with your team to complete objectives and you get to use vehicles and tools. The reason I don't like it as a single player game is that it lacks a good story line, ...

I'm going to comment on the single player version
What a spectacular game! I haven't enjoyed a single player combat experience this much probably ever, and I've played them all. The story was engrossing (and timely), the weapons are awesome, usable, predictable, and accurate enough to not be frustrating. As many have mentioned, the single player campaign, divided into 8 chapters, is quite short. You can get through it in maybe 8-10 ...

Best computer game addition
Age of Empires is one of the best computer game series in the history. It is fun and involves a lot of thinking and planning. Asian addition adds extra dimension of the game, in term of adding more civilization as well as game plays.

Fallout 3 Rocks...!!! :D

Definitely one of the best out there
I really recommend the Witcher. The story & world are amazingly deep and you can really get sucked in. There is an incredible freedom in the witcher where you really do get to influence what happens and chose between sides - the choices can be really hard to make! It can be a really long game if you take your time to enjoy it fully. I absolutely love this game! The Witcher ran smoothly ...

Oblivion with Guns
It seemed like it was based on the Oblivion engine, so it had Havok physics. However, if you played other games by Bethesda, such as Morrowind, the game feels a bit more limited due to invisible barriers (like climbing over rubble and finding you can't go any further). It has a very similar speaking style to the original Fallout where you can choose from many different options, i.e. where you ...

Wow! 5-in-1 for less than $20
This was an amazing find. If you were to go to Best Buy to purchase each of these games separately, you'd spend around $100. I haven't had time to play these games, but the C&C series has never disappointed me. Likewise, other games from EA are generally good quality games. I don't recommend getting it for the Lord of the Rings game--instead find the two-pack of the Lord of the Rings Battle ...

Oh fun and interesting
I originally bought this because I got tired of waiting for NWN2 promised expansions, but am now hooked on this! The engine is easy to use and the play fun and really interesting. The no charge online play is great and the graphics gorgeous. Highly recommend!

The Worthy Successor (Almost)
Let's go through the little tchotchkes inclused with the Exclusive Survival Edition: 1. PipBoy 3000 Clock. For a unit that functions as just a clock (no alarm capacity), you'd think they would include an AC adapter plug. Otherwise, even if it works on startup (mine did, no tinfoil additions necessary), the battery life is very short--4 days even with high-grade Energizer lithium batteries. ...

Good support
A 'new' game always has compatibility issues, this one is no different. What is different is, support. My emails where answered and the situation resolved within 1 hour! All of my 'problems' where driver related, they had all the info I needed to update my system. Would I recommend this game? Absolutely! I have not rated this 5 star, because I've just started using it, but I think it will live up ...

Waek PC port
This is a good game that allows yoou to play Ironman, as the name indicates. But the developers really gutted it for the PC. Gameplay is good but the video is weak compared to the Xbox version, which is just the opposite of how it should be. Otherwise it is an good game but it could have been tweaked for the PC instead of just ported.

A GREAT GAME THAT BRINGS TRUE STYLE TO SHOOTERS
There are a number of great FPS and TPS coming out this season (CRYSIS, CALL OF DUTY 4 and UNREAL TOURNAMENT 3 - just to name a few). Advanced graphics, new weapons, excellent gameplay, new ideas...all true. However, NONE HAS HALF THE STYLE OF STRANGLEHOLD! This game is getting the bum wrap all over - for reasons unfathomable. From gaming magazines (I guess they have to rate some games badly ...
