Much bettre
This version is soooooo much better than the prior one. Runs quickly, easy to import pictures and video. I run this on my old junky laptop and it runs really well. I have very little time anymore so when I sit down to work on this I need it to be easy to figure out, easy to manage, and I need it to run quickly. This version does all of that.

Difficult Buggy Software
I purchased FTM 2006 about a month ago from the FTM prople. It took two weeks to receive and had a 30 day (from date of purchase) return policy. Here are my experiences. The program is really different from the older version that I had. A lot of what I wished would be on the front page is there now but drop down menus are really different. Take the time to learn the program as it is different. I think I will really like it when I learn how to use all the features.

I actually ordered this from Individual Software's website and they advertise it works with Vista. I should have stuck with shopping through Amazon, they aren't showing it works with Vista. Please note this is just as good as it looks, but was made for WINDOWS 95/98... if you want to run it on TODAY's PC's you need to go two Microsoft's web site and search for the 45 day trail of their software to allow you to run older programs (you can buy it after the 45 days is up)....
