As a retired pro, this is a good program for general use
I am a retired visual and product designer. I was for over 30 years. I used Photoshop. Photoshop Elements 6 is no Photoshop, but it pretty close. If you don't need capabilities to do high end professional work, then this program will fit your needs in regards to photo enhancement, effects and etc. I use it all the time.

The features in Lightroom 2 are well worth the cost to upgrade. Yes, a few bugs need to be addressed. Lighroom VER 1 had them too and Adobe did fix them. FAKE!!!
I purchased this item thinking it was authentic. I was wrong. It kept asking me to register it everytime i opened it up. So i called Adobe annd had them run the serial number for verification and it came back invalid. The seller made a prompt refund, and had excellent communication. It was just unfortunate. So be very aware of high priced software for really cheap, even on Amazon!!!
