Pirates of The Caribbean

Worth it, with some work--
The game was relatively enjoyable as it comes from the box. It was engaging enough that I played the whole way through it to see how the story unfolded, even though it was a bit cheesy and the game itself considerably buggy and quite obviously unfinished. The gameplay itself was decent, although a bit repetetive. At sea, however, the graphics are impressive enoug that simply watching the ships ...

Tropico2 could it be any more fun?
I had my reservations about Tropico2 after loving Tropico so much. I was pleasantly suprised. The gameplay is just different enough from Tropico 1 to feel like a different game. Very fun to play and of course Daniel Indart's musical tracks are every bit as good as in Tropico1. These games have turned me onto a whole new genre of music. You'll find yourself playing just to enjoy the great tunes. ...

Entertaining
Caution! This game is addictive. I love the graphics and music and the ability to replay any previously beaten level is a nice feature. I've definitely gotten my money's worth out of this game.

I loved this, but it ended too soon.
Excellent game, moved along well, graphics were good, kept me up nights wanting to go further, color was excellent, nice story line, puzzles were difficult but not impossible, it ended too soon for me. Have to get the next one soonest.

Outstanding game play!
Sid Meirs is genius. This game will give you many hours of intense game play. I wish there were more games of this quality to enjoy, instead of the mindless shoot-em-up stuff that makes up 90% of the games sold. I love the open endness of the game which allows the player to enter the game as not only a pirate but a trader or Spanish raider. It's also educational for younger players; teaching ...

Superb game for Sim / Tactics fan.
Very fun, excellent time killer. At the $8.99 bargain price, u can't beat it. Only complaint would be the load time when you start a new game is a tad bit long. Even on my super gaming computer, it takes about 3 min.

Time to pilllege and plunder!
I bought this game on a whim and am so glad I did! I've stayed up later than I should have every day this week playing it and it is still just as fun as the very first time. What's better than fencing and treasure hunting? Nothing! It's worth every penny spent. I am disappointed that I couldn't be a female pirate though. But I've gotten over it.

Can't get any better than this.
I mean, when a game copy-pastes levels, sounds, graphics, UI, and designs from a crapload of other good games, such as Thief 3, UT2004, Morrowind, Oblivion, WoW, Vampire: Bloodlines (one of my all time favs), Crysis, + more, it must be super awesome, right? It's like the combined awesomeness of all those games in one affordable title. Yeah Bethesda is gonna sue the game developer's arses, yeah ...

This game is really fun!!! I'm a big Pirate's fan and this game is well worth the money, I'm not finished playing yet but the graphics and Capt Jack Sparrow are really good, What I really like, is all the actors voices from the movie are on the game which is really nice and overall the game is worth playing if you are into the movies, I'm a big Johnny Depp fan, I've always been way before the ...

Awesome
Great game. Developers are very communicative with the playerbase. The game is designed around pvp, so carebears would probably not enjoy it too much. Fights last longer than 10-15 seconds. Have to actually think to win fights. Level 20's can take on a kill level 50's. Overall great game.

Arrhh!
Miers "Pirates". The handling and fighting of the ships is the same, but this game is more based about you and your playing style. If you like being an agressive play i suggest a Naval Officer for the best ship, or if you like to make money a merchant is for you, vice versa. All in all the game is decent, has nice story line, gameplay and graphics. The only thing i didn't like was handling my ...

yarrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Yarrrrr is a victory cry in the land of puzzle pirates. I would say they have scored a victory with this game. It can be played online as well as off line. Online play is monitored very closely to keep the site family friendly and appropriate for children over 13. I give this game 5 stars.

SFC2: Orion Pirates... join a community of gamers
SFC2: Orion Pirates builds on the SFC series which began in 1999 with SFC1. The Interplay game then became SFC2, which added two new races and a corresponding increase in ship choices. Finally, SFC2: Orion Pirates opens the door to an additional eight playable races, the "Pirate Cartels." Now the cartels vessels are not truly on par with the other eight races, but they are pirates, after all, not ...

One shot pirate game
Good graphics, and enjoyable at the early game. Problems are.... there are no skill levels to choose from, that is you are started from easy and forced into hard level, no going back. The programers design the combat to irratate, example... pirate or enemy ships with all their sails and masts destroyed can out sail you even if you have no damage to you ship at all, I would like to see that ...

Argh - A good time indeed
After playing Civilization III at an almost addictive rate, Tropico II - Pirate's Cove is a breath of fresh air. And maybe a bit more challenging. There's a tricky balance to keeping your captives resigned and your pirates happy. The graphics are fun and so is a Pirate's life. The learning curve is higher than Civ III (it was for me) - there are so many varibles with Tropico II - a reason why I ...

This is Great!!!!
I just got this game a week ago, and I can't stop playing it. I had some trouble in the beggining because you start out with a really small ship. I learned that if a big ship attacks you, it will probably be slower, so just run away. Make sure to get a lot of money and talk to everyone in a town to get experience points. This game is a lot of fun once you get a bigger ship, so work your way ...
