This is one of the heavier resistance bands you can purchase at a good price. If you're a serious weightlifter or body builder, I don't think any of the available resistance bands will be sufficient for you. But this one offers more resistance than most -- feels like a ~30 pound dumbell in each hand when you step in the middle and curl with each arm. Not bad...
