I'm with Robbie...
I bought mine on clearance. Yes the thermometer quit working but I did like Robbie & pryed off the gray bezzle & replaced the battery. The battery is a A10 or 389/390. Make sure you clean all the contacts with a clean eraser head before re-assembly. Also, my thermometer is reasonably accurate unlike some other comments.

The light arrived on time and works very well. I've used it a couple of times already and the battery still hasn't run down. It can be set at almost any angle and works where other lights won't. It can even be recharged from your car lighter socket.

I have one of these in my work toolbag and another at home. It is one of the best tools I own. The vlotage detection works well and it is not as fragile as the other non contact testers I have owned with the pointed tip. The light is not a flashlight, but is helpful as long as the tool is in your hand already. A must have for anyone working on AC circuts.

not too pleased with this flashlight. I have other Pelican models that are better. The first one I rec'd was DOA...the metal piece that sits inside that makes contact with batteries was missing but I understand bad units can slip through. Amazon was good at sending me an exchange. This one works..but just not very bright..luckily it was not that expensive.
