Explosive Gas False Alarms
This is the 2nd Kidde Carbon Monoxide/Explosive Gas detector I've had. The first one kept having false alarms for explosive gas. Kidde was kind enough to replace it with a new one a couple years ago. I am now having false gas alarms again. I am in touch with Kidde about getting a carbon monoxide detector instead. I am hoping things will go smoothly with customer service again this time around.

May be cheaper at Home Depot...
Great product. It has a "kickstand" so it can be placed on a table or screws so it can be hung on the wall. The digital display is recommended for CO testers. You can change batteries without removing the tester from the wall. A leading consumer testing magazine recommended this one. I often buy from Amazon because it is easy and usually cheaper. Simple to Use, Simple to Test, Great Value!
My old carbon monoxide detectors were a different brand, and they were due for replacement. I trusted the First Alert brand and gave these a try. I bought three of them (one for each level of the house). They work great, they are simple to test periodically, and I was very satisfied with the value for the money. I would recommend these detectors to anybody.
