I don't have these yet - I'm going to see if my local Ace has them. I'm writing this because I just read that Cook's Illustrated magazine rated them best, and I trust their tests 100%.

worked great - until the waranty expired
I got this heater a year ago at Ace for about $40. I liked the thermostat, high and low settings, and the additional fan setting (to use in the summer or just when I want a bit of white noise at night to drown out the neighbors). The heater worked great for a year, and then died after smelling of smoke. The 1 year warranty is just recently expired. The customer service reps haven't bothered ...
