Fantastic Creative Fun
Robo Rally a uniquely fun game if you want something with a little more challenge and interest than a run-of-the-mill board game. Gameplay consists of guiding a little robot in a race around a dangerous factory floor. Each player must choose from a random hand of simple movement cards like: "Move 1 Forward," "Turn Left," etc. Planning is complicated by hazards in the factory like conveyor ...

Game is great, better versions exist if you can find them
The other reviews are correct, there are other versions of this great game that will hold up better and are better looking. However, I would want to make sure that anyone who doesn't already own this great game is aware that the game itself is a lot of fun and there are many variations/rules variants that can also keep it fresh for long time players. If you haven't tried partnership Acquire, give ...

The most fun that you will have with a piece of cardboard
What can I say about Diplomacy. I started playing just a week ago and I'm already addicted to it. This game is truly a masterpiece because its not really the game that gives you the most fun, its the interaction with all of the other players. You can make secret alliances, team up to take down the powerful player, or betray your ally and take his country for a prize. A game can go on for months, ...

Super Nerdtastic Fun!
This game is soooo fun. You go through 3 "days" (rounds) collecting as many nobles (cards) as you can each with a different point value. There are action cards that change play often so every game is different.

The Great Dalmuti - Public outcry brings this great game back!
This is a family and party-friendly card game based on medieval class structure...when life wasn't fair (is it now?). We enjoy playing it as a family: children aged 14, 13, 11, and 6. They all like it. Each round of the game takes a short time to play, but you can play as many or as few rounds as you like. There is no score to keep, and there is no time limit. Who knows, you may be lucky ...

Excellent Game
Axis and Allies is a very playable WWII stategy game. The setup time, which I was told could be as long as 30 minutes, only takes about 10 minutes. As a turn-based game, it can seem a bit slow at first as new players are overwhelmed with a multitude of choices that a more experinced player handles with ease. The replay value is immense, and I have enjoyed and will continue to enjoy this game ...

RISK 2210 adds new dimension to the game.
RISK 2210 has really brought RISK into the 21st century. The addition of Commanders and command cards can change the game and allow the players to set up major attacks more subtley. I really enjoyed the new level of strategy needed as well as the acknowledgement of contemporary warfare. I wouldn't suggest 2210 to someone who has never played RISK before because all players should start with ...

All the boys in my family will play Risk for hours on end - this one was contagious. The neighborhood crew was at my house day after day. This is a great next step for the die-hard Risk player

Buy this game!
My husband and I bought this game about 8 years ago (at least), and it is still one of the most fun games that we own (and we own A LOT!). This is a great game to take someplace where you might have 15-60 min to kill (no pun intended), like a restaurant, waiting for a movie in a lobby, etc., but just be sure that you will have enough room to lay down about 10-15 cards end to end. It fits easily ...

"It seems harmless enough. Just a room full of dusty old antiquities, dug up from some old tomb in Egypt. Miskatonic U's faculty are all a tizzy, of course, but why did Professor Armitage go all pasty-white when he saw the Pharaoh's sarcophagus? The weirdness didn't start until the next night ... Curse of the Dark Pharaoh is the first expansion for Arkham Horror! Focusing on the thematic game play, amazing art, and strange tales that made the ...

The assault on Fortress Europe begins with D-Day. Highlighting units and nations involved in Operation Overlord including the debut of Canadian troops D-Day features the introduction of battlefield obstacles: immobile, non nation-specific units like pillboxes and tank traps that add to the realism of game play. Fan requested favorites like the Supermarine Spitfire and Jagdtiger also roar into action. The D-Day Booster Pack Contains: * 9 ...

Better than A&A Pacific - As good as the Revised Original
Axis and Allies: Europe is an excellent game. To understand the scenario, envision the base game with a zoom focusing your attention to the European theater only (with Japan-controlled Asia cut out). The strategy component is basically this: can Germany conquer Russia fast enough (without the aid of Japan - a strategy commonly used in the original version of the game) before the economic ...

Would Colonel Hessler have played this version?
Hasbro/Avalon Hill has finally produced a game on this significant battle and much in line with the movie from 1966, this version features the rationing of supplies as a key part of the game. There are no Germans dressed as MP's, and the road signs do lead to Malmedy! The method of German victory is to acquire more territory than the actual historical results. The Allied player need only prevent ...

Great Game very fun
I really enjoyed this game...I didn't think it was heavily favored for the Germans at all. I have only played it once so far but the Americans won (on the last turn) and the gentleman I was playing against was a more experienced gamer than I am. The system is great and obviously anything is possible when you are rolling die. We decided to play without the fate cards for the first time so we ...

Guadacanal World War II Game
WE met the designer of this game, Larry at a 43rd Infantry Division National Guard yearly anniversary celebration this year. We saw the game just before the finishing touches were put on. It was fascinating and such great thought went into the product. If you served our country at Guadacanal or had family members who you knew there - it is a great tie to their experiences and also a great game ...

Great Game
I am a big fan of board games and have a lot of fun exploring new ones, so when I was introduced to this game, I was hooked. You start with a hotel/casino floor plan then build it up which gives you more income, otions and fame. Every person that I have introduced this game to, really enjoyed it. Every game is different and the replayability is very high. I highly recommend this game.

Good Game
As a huge A&A fan, I think that the people at Avalon Hill have created a great game. However, I think that some of America's resources should go to the Eastern Front, so they can't build an instant navy of3 Battleships on it's first turn.

Awesome Miniature Game
My brothers and I got two of these and love playing. You really need a couple starters and a couple of boosters, however, with two starters we had plenty of fun. All the cards have historical information on the back that is always very interesting. The only complaint is Battleships. They are more powerful than I would have historically thought they were, however, it is a game and none the less ...
