Curious child's dream present
Bought it for my very curious 9 year old nephew and while my sister didn't think I was the best sister in the whole world ( it's kind of noisy) my nephew "loved it". He plays happily with this for hours creating different noises to drive his parents nuts.

We love to herd our horses!
My 5-yr old daughter had played this at her cousin's house and loved it, was always wanting to borrow it. So I bought it for her because I knew how much she enjoyed it. She loves to make up her own rules, and pretty much has all the names of the horses memorized. We have learned interesting things about horses on the backs of the cards, and she is now trying to learn about the horses' markings ...

Our #1 Party Game
The fun doesn't end. Buzz word is high pressure, high fun, and our new go to game. It is very similar to Outburst, and if you like Outburst you'll love Buzz Word. It's a team game and the teams can be as big as you like. I would suggest at least 4 players per team to make it interesting. The game consists of about 500 cards with a "Buzz Word" and 10 clues. Each team has a reader (everyone ...

This was a great game and my 11th and 12th grade bible study group really enjoyed playing the game. I would recommend it highly.

Fun family game
This proved to be a very nice game. Easy enough to start, but it does have some levels of startegy and planning that you recognize as you play. Rules for team play add to the fun. We've played this with various friends, and they've all gone out and bought their own soon after.

Great gift
Bought this game for my daughter who is into horses last Christmas. She loves it and plays it often. It's a great novelty addition to the traditional look of the game. The horse theme gets her interested in something other then video games too. Great gift! Wonderful fun way to teach kids how to handle counting and making change with money too.

Enjoyable Game
"Sequence" is a card game with a play board. It involves a little luck and a lot of observation and advance planning. No two "rounds" are alike. Although I am not an avid game player, I found "Sequence" to be a lot of fun for the whole family. We take it on camping trips also.

Ticket to Ride
This is a strategy game which takes some thinking. Beats TV! Rules sound complicated but once you lay out the game and follow the directions it all starts to make sense. Had our children here for several days and played this game each night after the grandchildren went to bed. Each time we came up with more strategies and became more competitive. Thinking about buying ticket to ride - America.

Moose on the Loose!
This game is a real winner, any way you look at it. It comes in a heavy duty, durable box; perfect for little hands to take care of. The pictures of the Moose are adorable (and made me with we had the book If You Give A Moose A Muffin to read afterward. Though geared for the younger set, this game is fun for the family to play together. Your goal is to stop the moose in his tracks and not ...

Family fun with a twist
Everyone's heard of Apples to Apples, but what about the younger kids? They don't know enough of the references in the adult version, to play along. For kids, there's the Apples to Apples 9+ version. OK, it does say 9+, but for gifted kids, I'd make that 6+, and play the whole family together. Apples to apples is the fun of finding the words to fit the topic (green apple), but also making ...

Sequence to a new level
We have been Sequence players for years so were a bit leery about a Dice version. WE LOVE IT! It's Sequence, only faster with quicker turn-abouts. Wish we had found it earlier. A plus is that it packs very easily. A great all around game.

One of the most fun games you can ever play!
Apples to Apples is just way too fun. Whether you are playing it with kids, adults, or both, you will enjoy it. The thing I like the most about the game is that it's fast paced, never boring, and doesn't take an hour or two to play most games only last 20-30 minutes TOPS! On a side note about the expansion sets that are available for the game, the original "Core Game" and its expansions ...

Awesome Game!
We bought this for my 8 year old, who loves animals. She loves the game, and we have had a great time playing it with her. The only difference in this, and real Monopoly is that you are buying dogs and dog houses instead of property and hotels.

Complex but wonderful Fun!
I've played this game for well over ten years now and it's still fun. The basic premise behind it is conspiracy theory. Each player tries to take control of people and organizations until he achieves the victory condition. This can be a certain number of cards for everyone, the specific Illuminati he is playing, or my favorite 'secret victory conditions'. Initially this game can take a ...

ANOTHER WINNER!!!
This game is GREAT! It is a combination of skill, symbols, and FUN! Just when you think you have a winning hand, the fates can turn. The real challenge is deciding how valuable your cards actually are -- even a sure-thing can slip from your grasp if you don't play your cards right. The best part about Xactika is lots of your friends can play along with you (up to 10 people)!

Yes, you guessed it! Star Munchkin 2 brings the epic saga of The Clown Wars to life, except with better acting... Star Munchkin took the rules-bending, power-gaming, dungeon-crawling madness of the original Munchkin and put the whole thing in space, where the monsters are more alien, the weapons more zappy, and the treasure -- well, there's still piles of treasure.

surprisingly fun
One particularly boring night after just moving and no TV, I pulled out this game (received as a birthday gift 'cause I'm a fan of cats) and introduced the world of monopoly via catopoly to my husband, his brother and wife. We had a ball! The fact that it's centered on cats had no bearing at all on how much fun it was. I doubt they even read the cat facts on the back...they're too interested in ...
