LeapFrog® Tag Storage Case1 review

LeapFrog

LeapFrog, 2008

Great Product!
If you buy the Tag system, I recommend getting this case, it's got a spot for everything you need and holds a lot of the books, so everything is in one place. A huge help! And it protects all the books and pens very well.

LeapFrog® Leapster® 2 Learning Game System - Green4 reviews

LeapFrog

LeapFrog, 2008

Better than ever!
We owned a Leapter L-Max that quit working due to an "accident." Because our 3 year old has loved and used that machine several times a day we had to replace it. He had learned so much from the previous Leapster and the reviews of the V-Smile were poor, so we decided to go with another Leapster. While we did go back and forth about whether we wanted another L-Max for the TV play capability or ...

LeapFrog® Tag Reading System20 reviews

LeapFrog

LeapFrog, 2008

The Holy Grail
There was an article about this toy before it came out in Wired Magazine. It basically interviewed the inventor and peaked my curiosity. So I purchased it. It is an impressive device by any modern day standards. Basically it's a camera that recognizes words and images on specialized paper (the limited series of books that you purchase). Once recognized it plays sound bites or reads the ...

Hasbro Playskool Busy Ball Popper474 reviews

Hasbro

Hasbro, 2006

Lots of fun
Gave this to our grand-daughter for her first birthday and she loves it. Has no trouble pushing the plunger to start it. She sometimes chases the balls, or will sit and watch the movement or will put the balls back in. She seems to enjoy the music. I have to admit, I find it really fun, too!

Fisher-Price Brilliant Basics Baby's First Blocks8 reviews

Fisher Price

Fisher Price, 2007

Entertaining with No Batteries Required
My one year old really enjoys these blocks. We stack them up for him and he likes to knock them down. He also gets a big kick out of putting the blocks into the correct holes and taking the lid off and putting the lid back on the box. The toy comes with ten plastic blocks in five different shapes and they are the perfect size for little hands.

Lego 4+ Basic Bulk Set24 reviews

Lego Education

Lego Education

Good enough for my great-nephew
Finally, I found a gift for my eight-year-old great-nephew that he completely loves! The big pile of legos you see in the sales picture actually comes in many separate packages encased in a big plastic box with lid. I didn't know the plates come separate, but luckily he had some from another, much smaller box of legos he already had on hand. (If this is your first Legos purchase, you need to get ...

LEGO® Pink Brick Box6 reviews

LEGO

LEGO, 2008

A fun Little Set
My daughter's Belville sets have provided a lot of fun but they are rather thin on regular block pieces so I bought this set to go along with them. This is a very nice set. Packaged in a storage tub with plenty of extra room my daughter's other sets could be easily combined with this one. Pieces are in a lot of interesting colors; three different pinks, bright blue, bright green, yellow, ...

Great Book
This book was a great addition to the leapfrog tag. My boys love the regular I spy books and this version is even better, all the pictures are clickable and it's a great help explaining the words and pictures for each section. Love it!

Melissa and Doug Pattern Blocks and Boards23 reviews

Melissa and Doug

Melissa and Doug, 2006

wonderful toy
My son was three when we got this for him. He loved placing the blocks over the pattern boards. Sometimes he would bump the pieces, but didn't seem to mind putting them back. It was neat to see his little fingers working to carefully and the intent expression on his face. Before he was four he began to create the designs next to the boards as well as on them. Now he is four and a half. He ...

Spin Around4 reviews

Remember Sit 'n Spin?
When my children were small in the mid-late 70's I bought them the toy then known as a Sit N Spin, one of the very best toy investments I ever made. There is a similar product out now but has an oval seating area that does not work nearly so well as the original so my daughter and I have searched for something closer to the old product. This is it! I bought this for my 15 month old grandson, ...
