great fun
Friends introduced me to this great game in Petersburg Alaska during the Little Norway Festival. At night we would pull it out and challenge each other to a new fast round of playing. Their rustic cabin became a room full of laughter as we played around the cast iron stove. The more you play it, the better you become. You start to see moves that can be made by moving things around. It keeps ...

Scrabble Crossword Game75 reviews

Hasbro

Scrabble, One of the Best Games in Life
Scrabble (Scrabble: Classic Edition) is an entertaining way both to stimulate young brains and to keep mature brains developing. This kind of play is beneficial. There is nothing wasteful about the time spent playing Scrabble. (Unless you are playing with someone who spends too long trying to think of a word.) There is some correction needed on the description of Scrabble. One is the age ...

Just a whole lot of laughs!
This is a game that has been around for a lot of years that can get a good belly laugh from any age group young or old. This is a wonderful game to pull out on unsuspecting guests! Ha Ha HA!! It is even more hilarious to play after you have conned the reluctant player into participating. It is a great way for even the stiffest of the stiffs to learn to laugh at themselves in a healthy way that ...

Scrabble: Junior Edition28 reviews

Hasbro

Who says boys don't like scrabble?!
I bought this game for my seven year old grandson's b'day. My grandson and his family have spent hours playing scrabble junior together. The added bonus to this product is it's "grow with me" capability. This game can be used on the beginners side as children learn the concept of spelling and then flips to a regular scrabble board when they become able to form their own words.

Radio Flyer Classic Walker Wagon116 reviews

Radio Flyer

Great Wagon
This is a really great wagon, my 10 month old is determined to walk and really enjoys pushing his wagon around, he also loves to ride in it with the sides taken off. The wagon is really well-made and sturdy and assembly was pretty easy, the front bumper is great as it protects our paintwork from my son's enthusiastic pushing- I can see him using this for years to come.

Monopoly, the King of Board Games
What did children do before they had 100 channels on their televisions, the latest I-Pods, cell phones, computer games, and door-to-door transporation? ANSWER: They played Monopoly! Having gone through my formative years in the 1950's, when we had two channels on a snowy black and white screen and the use of our aunt's eight-party telephone line, we learned how to have a good time with what we ...

Greatest game in the history of the universe
As long as you aren't a big dummy, you'll love this game. I love this game with all my heart, and body . . . which says a lot. One time I thought about Risk too much, I pooped my pants. If anyone tells you this game isn't the best game in the universe, you'd better head butt them immediately because they're the biggest idiot in the world. Trust me, I would know.

LEGO Star Wars Motorized Walking AT-AT7 reviews

LEGO

LEGO, 2008

Back to Planet Hoth and those AT-ATs!
Lego hits a home run with this mechanized model of the AT-AT you first saw terrorizing the Rebels on Hoth in Episode V of Star Wars. This advanced model (more than 1100 pieces) features a handle on top for easy transport, but the kicker is both its size (over 12" tall and 14" long) and the mechanization. With the addition of 6-AA batteries, this model uses its articulated legs to walk smoothly ...

So much fun
I played this game when I was a child with my great aunt and it always brought much heppiness. Over the years it was lost in a move and I could not find it anywhere. Finally I found it on your website and have since purchased it for my brother and one of my sisters who have introduced it to a new generation in the family. My 81 year old mother said she used to play this when she was a young ...

great game for kids
My 5 year old daughter and her 6 year old cousin love this game. My husband and I love it too. I have always loved the grown up version, but like other reviewers have said, it is a little brutal for young kids. I think this version is great as it teaches basic math (you have to pay double? you are only adding 3 plus 3) and is more fun from a kid perspective - what kid cares about owning ...

The Original Colorforms Set17 reviews

University Games

University Games, 1998

Designed by artists, perfect for making art
I read that Colorforms were designed in the 1950's by two artists who were looking for a fun way to decorate the walls of their apartment, and the artistic foundation of this product is clear. While Colorforms don't stick to walls, they do stick very lightly to completely smooth, clean surfaces like tile, glass (windows), and whiteboards, and they are so fun for all ages to play with. My 2 year ...

Radio Flyer All-Terrain Steel and Wood Wagon59 reviews

Radio Flyer

Radio Flyer, 2007

Fantastic wagon!
This is by far the best wagon out there! The real/air tires are great because the kids don't have to feel every bump. And it makes for a great ride with the pads that you can buy seperately.

fun, but... lacking in variety?
I really love this game--it's fun to play with my siblings and friends, and we get a kick out of taking each others money and seeing how our lives turn out at the end of the game. The only problem is... there's not really much of a variety. If there were more choices in occupations, I think it would be even more fun. I also with there was a choice of picking out WHERE we live, not just WHAT we ...

LeapFrog My First LeapPad Orange13 reviews

LeapFrog

LeapFrog, 2006

Great toy, but look around for the best deal
I love this toy! It's very educational and fun. My 2 1/2 year old son loves it so much that I just bought a second one for my younger son (currently 9 months) to use when he gets older. The toy is pretty durable, but with constant use I fear it won't last to pass on to my youngest. Amazon is a great place to buy the books for it, but I have to say the $69.99 list price here is a joke! I just ...

A nice break from batteries and flashing lights
Not a whole lot to say except that what you see is what you get. It's well put together, which I've found is always the case with this brand. My daughter is on the young side of the age range for this product, so I've been controlling her access to the toy screwdriver -- a little pointy -- but that's not a flaw in the product by any means.

Melissa&Doug

Great Math Helper!
I bought this abacus as a play-toy for my daughter to use while her older brother is doing is school work. He wound up using it as much as she did. An abacus is a great way to help visual and hands-on learners with basic operations, fractions, and more. This one is sturdily constructed, which means it stands up to use after class time, as well. A good learning toy for a wide variety of ages.

Every kid needs at least one!
We ordered several and glued them to a plywood table. My two kids (boy, 9; girl,7)have built an entire lego city on it. There is no limit to the creativity. I HIGHLY recommend.
