LeapFrog® Leapster® Learning Game: Batman5 reviews

LeapFrog

LeapFrog, 2007

great educational tool
My son sat in the back of the car yesterday counting all the way to 100 by two's...very impressive. When I asked if he learned to do that in school he said no - that he had learned to do it from his batman leapster game. Enough of a selling point for me!

Finding Nemo
This is fabulous. My kids love it and it's very educational and they fight over who's going to play with it. We only have one keyboard for the 4 of them. I would highly recommend this and hopefully the cartridges could be expanded to more difficult levels.

A must have.
If you have the clickstart computer the power cord is a must. My son loves playing on his "computer" and the batteries ran down fast so I decided to purchase this product.

Good Beginner Bowling Set
I bought this bowling set for my 2 year old since he likes to knock things down but he is not interested in it yet. However, I think the set is very durable, lightweight and fun to play with. The only downfall is that the dogs think it is their toy!

Learning Resources Money Bags A Coin Value Game11 reviews

Learning Resources

Learning Resources, 2005

Money Bags Game
I purchased the Money Bags game for my kids (ages 9, 7 & 7). They are having fun playing it and are learning along the way. A player rolls the die and moves their playing piece ahead on the board. The positions on the board include things like "25C tooth fairy" and "46C dusting." Before the player collects money, they spin the spinner and it determines if they cannot use a particular coin or ...

Melissa and Doug Wooden Shape Sorting Clock37 reviews

Melissa and Doug

Melissa and Doug, 2006

My Daughter doesn't know she is learning
My 3yr old loves this clock. Right now it is a really fun puzzle with numbers she recognizes. However, the learning value is huge. First of all, it is self-correcting. The numbers only fit in one place and there is a small number next to the puzzle piece so not only will one piece fit in that spot, there is also a correctly positioned smaller number to use as a guide. Secondly, it is durable ...

Great Game for Toddlers
I use to play this game in college and I just bought this one to keep my 4 year old twins busy when we go out to dinner. And they love it. It was suppose to only be for keeping them entertained when we're out, but they love it so much we have been playing it every night before bed. We all love it and they have been adding which is great. I highly recommend this for everyone.

Dora the Explorer Leap Frog Software
Dora the Explorer is a favorite of my 4 year old grandson. This software has a 2 part benefit for children. Learning in English and in Spanish. Dora and her adventures provide hours of fun while learning to count, learn colors, matching pairs, and shapes in English and Spanish. Their are 2 learning levels allowing the child to build their way to more challenging games and adventures as they ...

Fun Learning Adventure!
Simple games which contain numbers, letters, and shapes, and winning the 'tickets' through correct answers is the treat. Great educational tool for children in this stage of learning, ( or for remembering ), all the while enjoying Thomas & Friends!

Pretend and Play Calculator Cash Register46 reviews

Learning Resources

Learning Resources, 2006

Excellent toy
Purchased for my 2 1/2 yr old daughter - best $35 I ever spent! She plays "store" all day long with it. Only design flaw is that the cash drawer shoots out at a mile a minute, spilling the change. But she's learned to hold it with her hand and all's well. Highly recommended.

LeapFrog

Great game for a 3 year old.
I bought a used Leapster and this is one of the many games that came with it. After playing all the games I think this is the most suitable for my 3 year old, he is able to play many of the mini games that come in the cartrige without my help, he also likes Dora a lot. Great educational game.

Spinners, a great group game
Spinners is a great game for a group. It is better than Mexican Train dominoes because you need less room on the table to play it and you can rotate people among tables as you are playing. Older kids and adults will enjoy it. Participants can carry on a conversation and play at the same time so it makes for a great mingling tool. While it is not too intense for conversation, it does encourage ...

LeapFrog® ClickStart Educational Software:Toy Story To 100 + Beyond3 reviews

LeapFrog

LeapFrog, 2007

Fun, Entertaining, and Educational
My 3yo loves her clickstart computer and this is one of her favorite games. When you enter the game's menu you have the choice between 3 characters. Then you have to choose between 3 locations: Andy's house, the street, or the pizza place. All the locations are the same thing with different scenery. A number will be displayed at the top of the screen and, using arrow keys, the player will ...

LeapFrog® ClickStart Educational Software: Backyardigans: Number Pie Samurai4 reviews

LeapFrog

LeapFrog, 2008

The favorite game
This is my daughter's favorite game. It has 3 games, but they are games that evolve and advance to harder levels. For example, the cathing items in the basket game -- whatever it is called, starts with item recognition and uses the arrow keys to get say 'apples' instead of butter or cherries. Eventually it goes to can you get the apples with the '6' so you need to recognize your numbers. ...

Pleased
We bought my son the LeapFrog ClickStart My First Computer for Christmas. He liked the games that came with it, but we thought we would get him a few more. Some (the Toy Story game) were a bit disappointing because they only had one game (with various players and settings); however, the Animal Art Studio has many games and they are all different. My son loves to paint, create and play while he ...

A great way to save up your change
Most reviews are from parents trying to teach their kids about money. But this is great even for adults. At the end of the day I come home and dump my spare change into the jar and see it grow right there in front of me. I'd recommend it for anyone wanting to save up for that shiny new video game, ipod, what have you. When I first got it the spring was a little stiff but 30 dollars worth of ...

Great fun & education for my 5 year old!
This is my 5-year old daughter's favorite Leapster game! Great fun for her, and it has really improved her math abilities. The LMAX function allowing us to hook it to the TV when at home makes it better for educational interaction with us (mom & dad). Also, it's really helpful keeping her occupied in restaurants and during car rides; giving mom & dad some much needed peace (& we don't feel too ...
