These trains are not compatible with the wooden set but are wonderfully portable, durable and much more reasonably priced than the wooden set. I can fit a huge set into a storage bin that slides under the bed rather than have trains taking over my house.

Good for the little ones
My 2 year old loves this toy! I like the fact that the truck and trailer are easy to "hook up" so I don't have to be constantly fixing it like some toys. Sure, the cars don't look like the real nascar cars like others have said. But should one really expect a toddler toy to look "authentic"? It's a small kids' toy, and is just perfect for little hands.

Nice Addition to a Gordon Fan's Collection
I am not a Jeff Gordon fan, but this is an exceptional addition to a fan's collection. I bought this for the daughter of a Jeff Gordon fan. Unfortunately they opted to maintain it as a collector's item rather than allow her to play with it. It's up to par with Barbie's expected value and a humorous addition to a NASCAR collection.
