Toysmith Professional Magician #7926045 reviews

Wonderful introduction to magic
I bought this for my nephew. Just after we opened it, he and I went to a side room and practiced the first trick. It took like three minutes. It was a very simple trick, but it confused a number of people in the room who immediately wanted to know how he did it. He followed the rules and wouldn't tell them. Several objects and tricks are included. Enough to give a child (that's willing to ...

LeapFrog Tag Junior Book: How Do Dinosaurs Play with Their Friends?3 reviews

LeapFrog

LeapFrog, 2009

A Good Book
The story line in this book is very educational and encourages children to behave better with their friends. It encourages sharing and thinking about other's feelings. The audio that accompanies the book is very engaging for the little ones and not annoying for the adults. With the Tag Jr. system even 2 year olds can use and understand.

Melissa and Doug, 2006

Just a tip...
I checked this thing out in a toy store...Didnt buy it yet only because the kid's not even born. I do plan to encourage music so I'm looking at whats out there. This one seems like a good choice. Its colorful, but not overstimulating...as one reviewer said of another toy, " it doesn't scream cheap plastic kids toy" which you may or may not find important. I do, because I wonder if most kids (or ...

My kids love this
My kids love this game. While it can be a little confusing at first, once you figure out how to play it, it's very educational and fun. It had been a little bit more difficult for my 7 year old son to play it; I would say this is better for kids at least 8+, but a 7 year old can do it with help.

Guidecraft 72-pc. Magneatos Construction Set36 reviews

Guidecraft

Guidecraft

Not our favorite...
My son (age 3) becomes very frustrated with this toy because his structures fall down easily and without warning. The magnets do not seem strong enough. This toy has rarely been played with and we have had them for a year. Besides the magnet strength, this toy seems to be of excellent quality and looks attractive.

Fun Blocks
I liked these so much that I bought additional ones so my kids could have more to build bigger and better things with. They seem to stay together, which is one thing I worried about. I am glad I bought these. The wheels for making cars are the best. My kids make cars all the time.

Pentago CE Game from Mindtwister USA travel version12 reviews

Mindtwister USA

Mindtwister USA, 2008

Pentago is SOOO much fun!
Pentago adds an amazingly fun twist to the classic connect 5 game, the board is very sturdy, and the carrying case is very useful and well designed. Really does make it easy to carry around, and I can see the attention to details of this product. Greatly recommended for anyone who likes to play connect 5. Definitely one of my favorite games now and very well worth the $20 bucks.

LeapFrog Didj Custom Learning Game SpongeBob SquarePants: Fists of Foam10 reviews

LeapFrog

LeapFrog, 2008

Great Buy!
My daughter loves this game. She is only 3 (almost 4) but is able to play the game for the most part. It's easy for her to hold, easy for her to understand, and she loves Spongebob. The math parts are a little difficult for her to understand, but she's only 3. Overall a great game system.

Leapfrog Clickstart Educational Software:Toy Story To 100 + Beyond8 reviews

LeapFrog

LeapFrog, 2007

If they like Toy Story they will love this game
Our daughter, 3, absolutely loves this game. She got it for Christmas about two months before her 3rd birthday and had no trouble using it. We purchased the system because there was a Toy Story Game available since it is her favorite Disney movie. Some of the other reviews talk about the simplistic graphics, but I actually think that is a good thing for the younger kids. It is a simple game ...

Peg loom
My niece asked me for this item for Christmas. She loves to do crafts and she is a very talented 5 year old girl. This item also keeps her occupied and provides gifts for her aunt (me). I think it is a fantastic item because it helps her with her fine motor skills, and it shortens the time she watches TV.

Lots of fun!
We got this for our niece for Christmas and she has had a blast with it! She's only 3 but she likes to play along with the pre-programmed songs and rhythms. She has even played us some songs over the phone! I was a little concerned after reading that the other reviewers keyboard broke after 2 months, but this one has been going strong for 4 months now. My sister says they've only had to change ...

Great Toddler Toy - One of our Favorites!!
This is an excellent toy for toddlers!! It has just enough parts and pieces to keep them entertained, but not too many to overwhelm them. It can be manipulated several ways and provides great practice for developing fine motor skills. My son loves the man and the dog and has so much fun taking the big green box off the back of the truck and putting it back on, moving the crane around, and ...
