Orb Factory Sticky Mosaics: Jewelry Box4 reviews

The Orb Factory

The Orb Factory, 2008

Great for a 5 year old girl!!
I bought this for my daughter for her 5th birthday and she absolutely loved it! Sure I had to help her with some of it but she really enjoyed putting it together and loves the finished product! The stickers are pretty easy for 5 year old fingers to handle and while they adhere nicely you can also take them off if you need to reposition them. Additionally, there are enough extra stickers in ...

Everybody's Happy!
I bought this about 4 years ago when my daughter was 1. It was really great while I was cooking dinner. My daughter would bring a little step stool into the kitchen and sit on it and learn her letters sounds and words. I don't know exactly how much it contributed to her learning but by 18 months she knew all her letters and sounds and by about 30 months she could read pretty well. My son is ...

Bucky Balls

The Perfect Toy for girls, boys, parents, students, homeless people, bartenders, air traffic controllers, JESUS BUY SOME ALREADY
This, alongside the Sky Ball and possibly that pogo stick that is so effective it hurts people, is the greatest toy ever created. * Bucky Balls find each other. * You don't play with Bucky Balls... they play with you. * Throw out the Bucky Balls' carrying case -- they can be bracelets for chrissake. Wear them with you! * Bucky Balls pass the turing test. * Good for painful fake earrings. ...

LeapFrog

LeapFrog, 2006

Fun, educational, and durable!
I bought this for my son when he turned two a few months ago! He has fun dancing to the song everytime he puts in a letter and he's starting to attempt to sing along, "A says "a" and A says "uh", every letter makes a sound the A says...". very cute! Very duarblae: he is constantly throwing the letters around and carries the base around, and so far its been 3 months and everything works just as ...

Melissa and Doug

Melissa and Doug

Lots of fun!
I bought this for my daughter's 3rd birthday, and she loves it. I must admit...I enjoying playing with this toy too. The clothes are easy to put on and actually stay on, unlike the paper dolls I used to play with as a child. Like the other reviewers, it would be nice to have a lid for the box for storage or traveling, but it's a minor issue. I highly recommend this toy.

Melissa & Doug

Melissa & Doug

Not Perfect, but better than the rest.
I purchased these letters because I love the Melissa & Doug brand. THe magnets on these letters are strong enough to hold up art projects. The magnets make up the entire back of the letter not just a small magnet, that can fall out a pose a choking risk. Don't buy the cheap ones. THe only problem is that I recieved two letters that stuck together, and when I pulled them apart the paper came off ...

Simply Great!
Though this was recommended for ages 3+, our 19 month old loves it. She loves to doodles on it, has figured out how to clear the "slate" and can spend quite a bit of time on it before getting bored and moving on. It is also a great way for me to show her how to draw shapes.

Hours of enjoyment
My husband is a magnet fanatic and he has become quite addicted to making different shapes with these balls. They allow you to be quite creative with your building. The only downside is that we have lost of few - it's easy to do since they are so small. Plus, he read that they are quite dangerous if someone swallows them because they can attract across linings of organs - so be careful around ...

Great toy that lasts!
We've had this for over a year and it is still in great shape. Most things around here are broken within a few weeks, but this has been great. I'm impressed that the string on the pole hasn't come off because that happens alot with fishing type games, but this one is sturdy. It's also alot of fun and my son loved (and still loves) naming all the sea creatures as he catches them, so it's great ...

Very fun to play dress up
With two girls ages 4 and 2, this is perfect. Very durable and easy for them to handle. They love learning how to match an outfit, or even make crazy combinations. We had previously received a doll from grandma, so another doll was necessary to keep peace!

Magnetic dress-up boy doll
Pros: Melissa and Doug toys are great. My 3 year old son likes this toy. It has different professions (e.g., fire fighter, police officer) and fantasy roles (e.g., super hero, knight). It also is a type of puzzle because they match the outfits and make the pieces fit together. Adults can also enjoy it. It reminds me of my old paper dolls, but better because it's magnetic. Cons: The box is ...

lots of fun for 5-year-old
my 5-year-old daughter sits and works on these things for long periods of time and really enjoys doing them; I like the fact that they aren't messy like other art projects, i.e. paint. The stickers come off and then stick back on if you make a mistake.

Perfect gift for brother and sister
I bought this easel for our 6 year old grandson's birthday. I figured he would like it, and I hoped it would be something his 3 year old sister could enjoy also. It was a big hit. They both could draw to their hearts content at the same time without interfering with each other. Another plus is the clip at the top of each board. We discovered that was wonderful for paper drawings and those large ...

Excellent value
I had a little sticker-shock when I bought Magna-Tiles, but they are 1000% worth every penny. It is an awesome concept, and a fantastic toy. Another big PLUS is that they stack very neatly for when they get put away. My two kids (4 and 2) actually enjoy cleaning them up - WHOA, AWESOME! I recommend them highly, and will be getting them for my neices and nephews this year.
