WowWee Alive White Tiger Cub Plush Robotic Toy in White/Black4 reviews

What an adorable toy
I love this toy. I recently purchased both the tiger and lion cub. One for my daughter and one for my son. I love them both and my children adore them. They are extremely lifelike. Yes, they do make a robotic noise when they change expression but this is not that noticable and my children don't seem to care. My daughter lavishes kisses on hers constantly. I feel that these toys are worth ...

Snap Circuits Jr. SC-100104 reviews

Elenco Electronics Inc

definitely better than most "lab kits"
My son got this kit for his 10th birthday six months ago. Both of his folks are electricians, so he naturally has a lot of curiosity. It's seen hours of use, by a bunch of boys ages 8 to 10. On the down side, one of the pegs on the board has snapped off (doesn't affect performance), and the speaker has been a bit troublesome (sometimes loud enough, sometimes too quiet). On the up side, the ...

Love the Lion!
I got this lion for my 6 year old daughter before she got her tonsils out. She had seen a commercial ONCE and fell in love. She was hoping she might get it for Christmas, but was tickeled to get it at her "good-bye tonsils" party. She was excited to show the hospital staff how he roared and purred - even his little mouth moves. Most commented that their kids, even older ones, would love to ...

Grandson loves it!
I purchased this kit for my grandson's 9th birthday. It has to be kept up high and away from his little brother. The giftee gets it down and does an experiment or two, puts away the pieces, and voluntarily returns it to safety. I am impressed by the progression of difficulty and skill level in the books of experiments. He is learning about electricity and enjoying it too!

Scientific Explorer's Disgusting Science - A Kit for Studying the Science of Revolting Things16 reviews

Scientific Explorer

Scientific Explorer, 2007

disgusting!!
We swiped some toes (after running around sockless in rubber boots), toilet water, teeth, the kitchen sink, and left one open to the air for 1/2 an hour. The winner was the toes! Truly gross. It takes about 10 days to get some good cultures going, but we kept a chart and it was VERY educational. The other 'experiments' were just play, but the swabs and cultures in the petri dishes were really ...

Great family fun!
I bought this toy after our extended family (kids ages 2-20) enjoyed playing with the one that was in the condo we rented on the beach. That one had clearly been played with a lot and was still in good shape. Haven't had the opportunity to use ours yet, but I expect the same results. You do want to have a good sized open area to play with it as even our youngest one was able to stomp it hard ...

AMAZING Product at a FANTASTIC Price
After receiving a 28-piece microscope kit for Christmas that had a plastic scope that broke within 5 minutes, we were in a dilemma: Our son decided he really wanted a microscope, but we didn't want to get burned again. After much research, a science teacher at my school said she bought this for her child. She said the quality was great and that it does things some of the scopes in her high ...

Perfect Family Game for all
Blokus is a very fun strategy game. My husband and I as well as our 15 yr old and 6 yr old all enjoy this game. It is easy enough to play for all, but is very challenging at the same time. This is a great pick for family game night and I think it makes a perfect holiday gift for those hard to buy for friends and family members.

Cube World Series 2: Mic & Hans8 reviews

Radica Games

Radica Games, 2006

Endless Minutes of Fun
Cube world offers endless minutes of fun. It works best when you own several cubes. It's fun to observe the stick people jumping around from cube to cube. Their actions vary and may be unpredictable for a few turns. This toy is best enjoyed when viewed in shorter time increments.

Great for "wh" ?'s for kids with autism! :0)
Our son who is autistic is really taken with these cubes. We were able to get him to talk about the stick figures antics which is an accomplishment for a child with autism. He'd narrate what they were doing...and answer lots of "wh" ?'s which impressed his therapists. We never know what will tickle his funny bone and have wasted money on things he doesn't even blink at. We bought these on a ...

Great fun
I received one of these ant farms for Christmas last year and waited all winter for the ants. Once we got them they went nuts!! The entire family enjoyed watching these busy workers dig and dig. But after a few months they just stopped digging. A few died but the others just stood around. I let that go on a few weeks even after poking a couple new holes on the top of the gel but they just would ...

Uncle Milton Rainbow In My Room15 reviews

Uncle Milton

Uncle Milton, 2007

Lots of ohs & ahs from the kids!!!
Works best at night or in a dark room during the day, but it can also be partially seen in low light situations. I would recommend purchasing a 40mm crystal ball together with this product so that you can enjoy rainbows throughout the day and at night. Together they make the perfect gift for the rainbow enthusiast like my daughter.

Uncle Milton Homestar21 reviews

Very accurate and durable product
I purchased this planetarium for my sons birthday. The criteria I had were brightness, accuracy, and durability. Once lights are turned off, the stars or star and constellation images are viewed easily. The only issue is on a flat ceiling (which most users will be projecting upon) the edges are a bit blurry. There is a focus adjustment on the lens which can help this, but it cannot be fully ...

The Only Pogo
My 8 year old daughter was begging for a pogo stick since all the other kids in our neighborhood had one. They ALL had this pogo stick. Once I did a little bit of research I realized why - it's basically the only one available at a reasonable price. My daughter and all the other kids in the neighborhood (from ages 6-9) LOVE it! It's durable, works well, and fun!

Cube World Review
My son (8yrs old) received a set for Christmas and loved them and so did I. This toy was very different from any of the other games he received. It kept his attention and mine for a long time. We recently received the Cube World Global Get-a-way cube, which also interacts with the smaller cubes and has more exciting abilities. It's small enough to carry in your pocket, so take to a restaurant, ...
