"You Sank My Battleship!!"
Battleship was one of my favorite games as a child. Now, my son is able to share in that experience. We just picked up the new Battleship game about a week ago, and he loves it! I also like the changes that have been made to the game. For instance, when I was a child, the game was fairly basic. By that I mean that the containers were plain and there weren't many graphics to give the game a ...

someone is always saying SORRY!
AWESOME!!! I bought this game to advance my 2nd graders from the classic SORRY! game they have always loved. This version has added an exciting twist and skill to the board that keeps them interested and certainly in great competition. They love the excitement of how much their score can change throughout the game based on how pawns slide onto the game baord and bump into other pawns. The ...

LOVE IT!!
My son just got this for his birthday. I wanted him to have a game that was not only fun, but that he could learn from. My son has autism and my goal for this game was to work on his listening skills and turn taking. It's funny how he doesn't listen when I tell him something but when this game talks, he listens. He had a ball running around to all the targets. My son hasn't spent that much time ...

Classic Fun
Candyland has been around forever and you would be hard pressed to find someone who has not actually played it, I know I did when growing up and remember playing it with my younger sister. I now play it with my 3 year old daughter who loves it just as much. The revised game is a bit different than what I recall, but it has been awhile since I had a copy before I got this one. It may not ...

My Autistic Son Loves This! All Time Family Favorite!
This game is so much fun for the whole family. Unfortunately it's only a 2 player game, but children learn to share by waiting to play. My autistic son who also has cerebal palsy plays this with perfection! He's managed to beat me more times than I can count! Truly, this will give you a wonderful family experience you'll cherish forever! Plus if the little ones want to play real checkers but ...

Great for the hopscotch lover!
We just ordered this for my daughter for her 4th birthday. She LOVES hopscotch and we thought this would be a great indoor alternative during the winter months. This has been nothing short of a hit! The endless design possibilities make this game not only challenging, but boosts creativity. It's a physical activity that also works the brain. The pieces are VERY durable. A couple of my ...

Love Getting Into Trouble!
I purchased this game when Hasbro had the rebates and made it an irresistible 4 dollars (on amazon)! We have quite a collection of Family Games for Family Night. This game is easily played by all, including our 5 year old. I guess it could help kids with counting, but as it only goes to six, not too much. But, what it does teach is patience and persistence. There is a tiny bit of skill involved ...

Not as durable as the older version
This game is a classic that I played when I was little. Our original game held up for years. I don't see today's version holding up for too long. It's the same thing of they don't make them like they used to. However, it's still a great game and my boys both enjoy playing. I do too.

You can't go wrong with YAHTZEE!
If you haven't played Yahtzee before, where have you been?? I remember playing this while growing up and still love it to this day. It is a game that anyone can play and great for family and friends. I picked it up recently, because we had lost ours in a move and the kids kept asking for it again. We enjoy playing it on weekends or evenings instead of flipping through the channels on the TV. ...

Monopoly, the King of Board Games
What did children do before they had 100 channels on their televisions, the latest I-Pods, cell phones, computer games, and door-to-door transporation? ANSWER: They played Monopoly! Having gone through my formative years in the 1950's, when we had two channels on a snowy black and white screen and the use of our aunt's eight-party telephone line, we learned how to have a good time with what we ...

One of the few games that holds their interest for years.
This is a great game. It's easy for younger kids to play and the rounds are quick. Assembly is a bit of a pain and after time some of the cards start to fall out. We actually just use one of the flip boards now and pass it back and forth to whoever is guessing. Well worth the money.

fun for grandparents and grandchildren 4 up
We had fun playing this with our 4 year old and 7 year old grandsons over a weekend. The four year old very quickly picked up and played the simpler version, while the seven year old was into the strategy right away!

Really Great
This game is really great. It teaches kids about life. So what is it's not very durable. Also some of you adults out there think it's not realistic. Well, news flash... ITS A GAME! My favorite job is the doctor. My only problem is the spinner. It's very hard to spin. But, if you can get over that, buy it!
