LeapFrog

LeapFrog, 2008

I Spy
My grandson loves I Spy things. When I saw this book, I decided that he would learn alot from using the book and I was right. He is over the top about finding eveything on the pages by himself and reading at the same time.

Different type of learning approach
I gave this 5 stars because overall I think this is a great game. It operates like the video arcade game pac-man did. The difference is, you choose the level you want to start and the Leapster then gives you a word to spell according to that level. Then you have to correctly go through the maze and find the letters in order. So for example, if you picked level 1, you may have a simple word ...

Nothing motivates a BOY like "KUNG FU"!!
After purchasing the LeapFrog® Tag Reading System and having my son work through the "Ozzie and Mack" book that came with it, I realized that I would need to get him a book that was much more in line with his interests. Enter "Kung Fu Panda"! The movie was awesome, the story was awesome and the lessons were awesome. In short, the book was awesome. It continues to inspire spontaneous acts of ...

Wonderful tool for 5-year-old while parent is working on homework with older sibling
Wonderful product. Would purchase again in a heartbeat. In the last paragraph I discuss this product's only minus. My 5-year-old calls Tag "superfun". I love that when I work with my older child doing homework my kindgartner can quietly work right beside us thanks to the headphone jack. Not only does it "read" the book, it also makes interactive sounds when any picture on the page is ...

LeapFrog® Tag Activity Storybook Disney/Pixar Cars: Tractor Tipping2 reviews

LeapFrog

LeapFrog, 2008

Great for Your Little Cars Fan!
This is a wonderful Tag book for the Cars lover. My 4-year-old received the Tag system and this book for his birthday in July. He absolutely loves it! He's read it so much that as soon as he turns the page, he shouts out "Frank's coming!" or makes the sound effects of the characters. He tells me what's happening before even putting the pen to the book now. And I can see improvement by hooking ...

Melissa and Doug See & Spell41 reviews

Melissa and Doug

Melissa and Doug, 2006

great product
This is a great way to learn to read, by individually placing the letter in the correct spot. I'm using it with my 4 year old as it is, and also to help him sound out more difficult words in books. When he's stumped, I just get out the letters and place them on the table. He starts with the first sound and on through the word until he's figured it out. A great educational tool.

This is the best gaming system I ever invested in, not only does my son prefer to play on it rather than his DS, XBOX, PS2,3 and the computer he really enjoys playing it. He loves the fact that he's getting his homework done at the same time he's playing fun games. His teacher has no problem with him using the didj for homework assignments in fact she said that it's improved his grades in all ...

EDUCATIONAL AND FUN!
I got this for my grandson when he was 6 months old. He is now 19 months old and still loves it! It is his favorite book, and it has held up to his rough and tough ways. Very durable, very educational, and the children love it. When he was tested they said that he is 96% above average on his thinking skills, problem solving, and growth. I attest some of that to this educational toy. Would ...

My Word Coach83 reviews

Nintendo DS | UBI Soft, 2007

Really like this game. I can see it will improve my vocabulary.
I can give this game a 2 thumbs up. It does just what it says it helps you to learn new words and what they mean and how to spell them all in a fun game setting. Sometimes it gives you the word and you chooses between two diffinitions. Others you write out the word or fill in the missing letter. I highly recommend this to all learning and Brain games fans.
