The Wave Original Street Surfing Board (Black/White)72 reviews

Street Surfing

Street Surfing, 2008

Notes for new buyers [UPDATED Nov. 08]
I've been riding a StreetSurfing's Wave for a month, and I'm really having a great time with it. I thought to share my experience in some areas that new buyers may find useful. Wave vs. Ripstik: I chose Wave over Ripstik because I heard that it's easier to learn. The claim was supposedly based on Wave's wider deck plate and shorter caster height. I tried my friend's Ripstik, and my ...

Mega Bloks King Arthur Battle Action Castle2 reviews

Mega Brands

Mega Brands

VERY nice for the price
While hardcore building block enthusiasts might balk at the large pre-built sections, King Arthur's castle is a very nice balance of pieces and playability that can appeal to both young children (8+) and collectors. Lots of nice details, like a fireplace, food items, blacksmith's anvil, and a hunting hound add to what is otherwise a nicely designed (but unexceptional) fantasy medieval set. The ...

Speed Coaster1 review

K'NEX

K'NEX, 2008

Fun construction project
I bought this as a project to work on together, w/ my daughter who is 3 yrs old. Interestingly enough, even though she is way under the targeted age group of 7+, she easily learnt how to snap the pieces together and w/ some guidance from me in gathering the various parts actually assembled most of the supporting structure. This definitely speaks volumes about the ease of assembly of the product. ...

Razor

Razor, 2008

Great board
This is a great buy for anybody. I saw my friend riding a wave board and he let me try it when I inquired what it was. It was a lot of fun and very addicting. He told me that if i bought one to get it because the waveboard was better that the ripstik because it had a smoother ride and it was better built. I went to Walmart and was looking at the wave boards and I saw the ripstick G. It looked a ...

Big Time Toys, Llc

Love 'em. What's the problem?
Pay no attention to the "how to return Santa's Toy" signature. I can't seen to remove it. as far as the shoes go, the kids looove these things. I can't understand all the fuss over these as far as people thinking they're dangerous. People talk about the potential for twisted ankles, broken wrists, head injuries, blah, blah, blah. I suppose their kids don't ride bikes, play on swingsets or run ...

Pogo Stick
My 9 yr old son loves this Pogo Stick. His record is 1562! We all like to jump on it. Any younger then 8 or 9 may not be heavy enough to "pogo". Good, solid product.

The Only Pogo
My 8 year old daughter was begging for a pogo stick since all the other kids in our neighborhood had one. They ALL had this pogo stick. Once I did a little bit of research I realized why - it's basically the only one available at a reasonable price. My daughter and all the other kids in the neighborhood (from ages 6-9) LOVE it! It's durable, works well, and fun!

RipStik Caster Board (Blue)148 reviews

RipStik

RipStik, 2006

RipStik is a hit!
I bought one for my daughter's 10th birthday. She loves it! It came with a video on how to use it and do tricks, and she watched it before using it the first time. Even though MN winters start early, she has been on it more than what I expected. I recommend this product for anyone who loves to skateboard - it's a step up in difficulty, but once mastered, it offers much more flexibility.

Nice "classic" toy, good quality
I bought these items a little over a year ago. Our boys are now 5 and 6 and they are still playing with them. Kids come from other houses to try them out - I guess they are not as commonly purchased as they were in my youth. anyway they love to ride them around the yard and I think it's decent exercise. In a year or so they will probably be too big for these, but til then we'll enjoy them. ...

Fuzion

Fuzion, 2007

O M G!
OMG! This thing is so much fun! I'm (censored) years old and I was looking for something more substantial than my kids' old Razor that I'd been using. I found this on Amazon and I thought I'd give it a try. My other choice was a xootr but that thing is over $200 and looks like it's more of a fast commuter scooter. This Fuzion, on the other hand, is built for handling. The front and rear ...

Cube World Review
My son (8yrs old) received a set for Christmas and loved them and so did I. This toy was very different from any of the other games he received. It kept his attention and mine for a long time. We recently received the Cube World Global Get-a-way cube, which also interacts with the smaller cubes and has more exciting abilities. It's small enough to carry in your pocket, so take to a restaurant, ...

Harry Potter Wand with light and sound8 reviews

Rubies

Rubies, 2007

A Wizard Must-Have!
We're die-hard Harry Potter fans and we LOVE this wand. With sounds and a lighted end that emulate the films, both my little wizards (ages 5 & 8) have had hours of fun casting spells galore. It's the closest thing to a "real" Harry Potter wand I've found - and I've searched everywhere. Durable and affordable, too.

Ferris Wheel2 reviews

K'NEX

K'NEX, 2008

Wonderful toy for a child to construct
The Ferris Wheel is an very nice toy for your child to construct, alone or with a little bit of your assistance. It is educational in the perspective that your child understands how to follow directions on his or her own and construct what appears to be a quite complicated moving display. The durability is average for a toy of this genre. Caution should be made in houses where there are very ...

Cute!
After opening these cute little cubes on Christmas Day, everyone aged 8 to 70 years old wanted to watch these stick men play. When stacked, they play tricks on each other and do all kinds of funny and adorable things. What a great gift for kids of all ages but especially the 8 to 15 year olds. Although, I'm in my 40s and I watched these little guys play for quite awhile before my pre-teens ...
