wonderful logic toy for ages 8+
Here we have another winner from the folks at ThinkFun. My 9 year old received this toy yesterday; I have played it a bit and found it quite challenging even at the "advanced" level (it goes up higher to "expert"). The premise of the game is straightforward. You have 9 chocolates in three colors and three shapes; you are given clues as to how to place them in the "chocolate box". Not as easy ...

Great game
My daughter is 5. She loves it. I love the little carry along bag that comes with it. Makes it a perfect item in our 'to go' bag. We save it to entertain during ball games, waits at resturants, anywhere that a 5 year old become antsy.

Great for your 6-7 year old, and UP!
Set is about pattern-making, but the patterns touch 4 different categories: shape, color, number and shade. My 7 year-old learned the rules in a few minutes, and we were quickly playing. It's an enjoyable, addictive game, but also requiring concentration and focus to succeed. I highly recommend for the game-oriented family with kids 6+.

Great game you can play by yourself!
This game is very appealing to boys because it has cars, but also very educational because it is puzzles to solve which uses reasoning! My son (5)has the JR. version and really likes it! It also comes with a storage bag that I love and its easy to take with you.

Great brain teasing fun for all ages
Rush Hour truly is a great brain teaser and after battling each other over who needs the smallest number of moves to solve each problem I think this is the toy that will remain way up in the list of favourites for a long time. It doesn't just have one solution to each problem which is also great because we all approach problems different. The game is really great fun for the whole family ...

Great for adults with patient
Finding a solution takes at least a couple of hours for an adult with some skills and experiences on brain teasers. Putting it back after dissembling is near to impossible without looking into the manual. You need to be observant and persistent to enjoy the toy.

Awsome for kids and grown-ups.
Our 9-year-old saw one of the kids at school play with this. So of course the nagging started as soon as we got home. Fortunately, I remember this puzzle since when I was a kid and had no problem giving in.... :-) Also: - it is inexpensive (unlike the playstation and x-box); which is a huge benefit, since we have 3 kids and things like this have to be bought in triplicate - it is made ...

Great product!
When I called my sister to see how her son (5 years old) liked this gift, she laughed. Apparently he burst into tears upon first seeing it because it wasn't another super hero action figure. She sat down with him and his older brother (6 years old) and they played a round and they've been playing it daily ever since. She also mentioned that her 5-year-old tends to be a bit of a sore loser and ...

Perfect Family Game for all
Blokus is a very fun strategy game. My husband and I as well as our 15 yr old and 6 yr old all enjoy this game. It is easy enough to play for all, but is very challenging at the same time. This is a great pick for family game night and I think it makes a perfect holiday gift for those hard to buy for friends and family members.

Simple and fun, as a good child's toy should be
My 6 year old son just received this toy for the holidays. Both my wife and I played it with him last night, and we all enjoyed it. It's durable and well-engineered to fit compactly together. The puzzles are a nice degree of difficulty for a 6 year old, not to mention fun and challenging for adults. This is because the number of pieces is just right, not too many or too few, and the use of ...

Rush Hour just keep getting better and better!
You have played Rush Hour, Rush Hour 2 & 3 and you have mastered the game, you have no challenges left, right? Wrong, just when you thought it was safe Binary arts comes out with the latest and newest edition to the Rush Hour Family with Rush Hour 4. As with other Rush Hour expansion card sets, this set comes with 40 cards. You have 10 intermediate, advanced, expert and Grand Master challenge ...

FUN WAY TO MASSAGE YOUR BRAIN!
This is a great toy to develop your child's strategic thinking. The game is relatively simple. Organize your frogs as per the cards, jump one frog over the other and remove the jumped-over frog. The objective is to leave just one frog. You can only jump `adjacent' frogs along the lines (see picture). The recommended age is 8 but younger children (supervised!) are just as enthralled. I had to ...

Rush Hour Deluxe Edition
My kindergartners were enjoying the jr. edition and some had outgrown all the possibilities in it, so I bought this set. They are still using it, it requires higher level thinking and the conversations as they try to help each other are wonderful. Boys as well as girls are enjoying this game. It takes just a little instruction in the beginning and then they are off on their own, teaching each ...

Great game; an attention grabber
I bought this for my 6 year old. She played with it for an hour the first time. It is a game she can play solo. After using the Junior cards, she went on to the beginner. She is still progressing. This is a great thinking game. I highly recommend it.

great educational game
great educational toy, although really need an adult to play with the child if he/she is just learning to read. Using the letter dispenser is alot of fun for the child (just like the tile dispenser in Zingo). It's a fun way for kids to learn - and they don't even realize you're teaching them!

Absolutely the most fun educational toy I have ever seen!
I bought this toy for my 5 year old 2 years ago, when I started homeschooling and she is now doing the intermediate and advanced levels (which still challenge me). She always wants to play rush hour before starting her math lessons to put herself in a "mathematical mind frame" (her words). Every child who comes to our house & plays this game is hooked and asks to play next time. I am a ...

3-D FUN!
At first my 7 year old had a bit of difficulty with the concept, but once she figured it out, she loves it! The idea is to use the cube combos that come in the package to make the designed printed on the cards that come with the set. It sounds easy, but it is rather challenging. It builds spatial perception and logical thinking in a game!

This fast-paced, energetic variation of Bingo is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser. Kids get a kick out of pulling the Zinger forward to reveal two mystery tiles and attempting to be the first to call out the tiles that match the images on their cards. The first player to fill his or her card wins! Ages 4 to 8. 2 to 8 players. 2 levels of play. 8 double-sided Zingo! cards and 72 picture tiles. 8 inches x 10.5 inches x 3.5 inches.

TipOver is lots of fun -- ThinkFun games are A+++
This, like most ThinkFun games, is a solitary thinking game, but my kids really like it. To play, you pick a card and set up the game pieces accordingly. Your goal is to get your man from his starting location to the designated ending location. He can walk along crates and tip them over to get to the next crate (the tipping is quite gratifying to the kids for some reason). Once a crate is ...

Keeps my family from watching TV or playing N64
This is the third set of cards for this extremely long-lasting fun - the whole family competes about how fast we can solve each level. Just like the original set and the 2nd with the convertible, the "limo" problems are mind boggling and the harder levels really keep you twisted for a while. Overall a great toy for any age that challenges your creativity!
