Isn't That Lovely, Now I am going to see Venus
I recently purchased Marvin The Martian Space Tunes 2000 Edition. This collection is an combination of two smaller videos released by Warner Brothers, Space Tunes (1998), and 50 Years on Earth, celebrating Marvin the Martian's 50th Birthday. If you have these two videos, this bigger collection is not for you. As for me, I loved it. It contains 12 cartoons, 11 by Chuck Jones and 1 by Friz Freleng. ...

Top-notch, it should only be released on DVD
Shortly after this came out, the media was swamped with well-meaning attacks on the violence in children's programming, much of which was directed at such classic cartoons as featured here - clearly a wrong-headed knee-jerk reaction gone too far. Perhaps that is why WB never re-released it on DVD. As it is, it is a prized member of my VHS collection, but I'd really like a newer one. On the other ...

A good collection.
This video features 6 uncut Bugs Bunny cartoons. The first is "From Hare to Eternity," which was a cartoon directed by Chuck Jones in 1995 as a tribute to the great cartoon director Friz Freleng who passed away that year. It is a good cartoon even though Chuck Jones was passed his prime. It just went to show that Chuck was never too old to make a good cartoon. The only thing I really didn't ...

Bugs at his best!
This collection features many of the best Bugs Bunny cartoons, including: HAREDEVIL HARE (the one where Bugs meets MARVIN THE MARTIAN on the moon) EASTER YEGGS (the one where Elmer wants to make "Easter Wabbit Stew" out of Bugs (the "Easter Bunny") ACROBATTY BUNNY (the one where Bugs is on the trapeze) RACKETEER RABBIT (where Bugs is captured by gangsters Rocky and Hugo) FALLING HARE (where Bugs ...

Bugs Bunny does it again.
This is a funny movie. Bugs is sitting poolside at his mansion, talking about classic encounters with his rivals. There is a very funny scene with Bugs and Elmer Fudd as kids. A good movie for any Bugs fan.

Good Mix
This tape includes everything the Looney Tunes has to offer. It starts off with the first Tazmanian Devil cartoon and ends with an oscar nominated Speedy Gonzales. It also contains a Sylvester & Tweety and a Roadrunner. Perfect for infants or those who have lived in a cave getting their first glimpse of Looney Tunes. Plus , the one with Porky and Daffy is brilliantly hilarious if you can handle ...

What's Up Doc?
Bugs Bunny has always put his crazy antics among several villians. Truth or Hare, contains five cartoons that truly show an domain of laughter. The Fair Haired Hare- By Friz Freleng, sees Yosemite Sam, living in an house with Bugs, by court order. Until Sam tries an stunt, that actually makes both sides happy. If there's Bugs, there's laughs!
This movie is great, it's a bunch of episodes interwined by one story that was created after the episodes were made to make them look as if they were one big episode. Daffy will make you laugh always trying to be the smartest and always the greediest duck you'll ever know. "It's my treasure! It's my treasure!"

Bugs looses ( sort of )
I am a big Bugs fan, and this one kind of dissapointed me. This is a spoof of Superman where Bugs eats super-carrots for his power. He keeps them in cigar case that he carries in his mock-up Superman outfit ( which is too big for him ). They even do the "change into the super hero via phone-booth" thing going on. A decent Bugs video, not as good as others though.

Excellent
This collection goes through Sylvester's & Tweety's evolution. It starts of with Tweety's first appearance in 1942. Then it goes on to Tweety's follow-up in 1944. After that comes Sylvester's Oscar nominated first appearance in 1945. Then it's Tweety's final solo cartoon made later in '45. At last they are together in the Oscar winning "Tweetie Pie" made in 1947. After that is Sylvester's work ...

This video has 6 uncut fully-animated cartoons: FOOL COVERAGE, THE HIGH AND THE FLIGHTY, PERSON TO BUNNY, HOLIDAY FOR DRUMSTICKS, STUPOR DUCK AND BOSTON QUACKIE. In my opinion the best are "Fool Coverage," "The High and the Flighty" and "Holiday for Drumsticks." I guarantee you will laugh out loud on these three! Here is a brief summary on each cartoon for you: FOOL COVERAGE: (5 stars!) Daffy is ...

A fun video with all kinds of animals from the Bronx Zoo
My kids just loved this video. It has all kinds of animals from the Bronx Zoo including great baby chimps and gorillas. The video teaches kids about the care and feeding of animals and the environment. There are a couple of good songs and the music was very good. I especially liked the hosts Garth and Susan and thought they were very informative without talking down to kids.

5 out of 6 cartoons ain't bad
Good Bugs video, however, Only 5 of the 6 cartoons listed on the package are on the actual videotape. "A Feather in His Hare" is missing, probably due to "political correctness". Buy it anyway.

DVD "The Devil Bat" (1940)
This particular production of the film is keen. You can watch it in colorized version or the original b/w. Lugosi carries the film from start to finish. The plot is easy on the neurons, but the bat does have a certain chill about it. A marvelous film on cloudy, windy nights, with rain beating against the window pane.
