Surprisingly good.
I've always liked the idea of independent filmmaking. So many of the mega-corporate blockbusters constantly filling movie screens are such junk. The only problem is that a lot of independent movies are quite poor. They may have their heart in the right place but something always seems to ruin the movie. Inexperienced actors, poor direction, too tight of a budget. Well, "Double Parked" is a ...

Things I'd Never Have Seen Except Through Luck
The reviews available here do a great job whetting the appetite of those who haven't seen this remarkable film, so I'll keep my comments short. In this movie, and in his Nine Lives, Rodrigo Garcia gives us more dramatic substance, insight, and pleasure in any single 10- or 20-minute segment than we can find, nine times out of ten, in the standard industry "blockbuster" of whatever length. I found ...

I ordered this movie because Peter Faulk is one of my very favorites...hands down. This movie is a treasure.....did not seem contrived...totally natural. Falk's voice is very soothing to me and he shows how it is possible to age in style. A very good movie to watch over and over. Thank YOU!!!

I seen both actors in later films first and thought they were interesting and when I found out about Josh & Sam I felt it was a bonus the Tierney was in it because I found out about the film because of Noah Fleiss and these kids were very good long before i found them and I now need to see all the rest of the early films to see how whomevwer was in charge saw the diamonds in the rough that these ...

This movie and the follow up were worth watching more than once. I was hoping for a DVD version, but was lucky enough to finally find VHS in good condition for both. Watch the change come over our star, as she learns to love her niece and nephew.

Channing is Amazing!
Stockard Channing once again steals the show! She is truely extraordinary! Channing and Collins have a wonderfull on-screen chemistry that makes it so easy to belive their relationship! The two children in this movie are fabulous as well, we should all look for them in upcoming movies, they will be very famous! I recomend this video to Stockard Channing fans. She is, once again, incredible!

EVERYONE GOT'S ONE TO TELL
by Dane Youssef This is yet another "daring and provocative" little "taboo-breaking film" from writer/director Todd Solondz ("Welcome To The Dollhouse," "Happiness," "Fear, Anxiety & Depression," Schatt's Last Shot"), so anyone who picks t his one up should know what to expect. In fact, dollars to diamonds, you wouldn't even think about picking this one up unless you were a fan. Like ...

This is a great movie and it's a shame that it is not more well known. It's a coming of age story for audiences who are gay or straight. It deals with issues that many teens who are coming out or realizing they're gay experience and is written quite well.

Brilliant
This is one of those little movies that probably had a limited release and was probably seen mostly by people who frequent film festivals. It is a real find because if you watch it, your immediate conclusion will be: an excellent piece of cinema. The film's message is your a product of your environment and background. Joe is not a great kid but your sympathy will lie with him by the end of this ...
