Underappreciated Classic 007!! Great Special Features
"Diamonds are a girls best friend Mr. Bond..." So suggests Miss Tiffany Case to a gleaming Sean Connery. Released in December of 1971, EON Productions "Diamonds Are Forever" was quite an anomaly to fans and critics alike. It was a strange Hollywood case, where the lead actor, Connery, actually returned to the role after a 5 movie run in the height of the 60's and vowing not to play the role ...

What Might Have Been
Timothy Dalton's second -- and, alas, final -- outing as James Bond. Unlike LIVING DAYLIGHTS which was originally intended for Pierce Brosnan and reworked for Dalton, this one was specifically designed to showcase Dalton's strengths. This is a hard-edged Bond (the first to be rated PG-13) and has Bond on a personal vendetta against the Drug Lord who maimed his friend Felix Leiter and murdered ...

A favorite Bond movie. Don't miss it!
Thunderball This is the fourth film in a series that offers the best action / adventure plots. The James Bond movies surfaced a world of espionage, gadgets, secret weapons, beautiful women and amazing cars. As with the first three, the success of Sean Connery continued to enchant audiences the world over, creating an image so powerful that still to today, it is debated that he offered the best ...

Bond NO.3
The third collection of the James Bond series has some of the best of the films, and in contrast, some of the not-so-good films. Starting off with DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER with Sean Connery as Bond, this one is somewhat lacklustre in comparison to the early 007 films, but there's still some fun to be had with some cool car chases through Vegas and an ensamble of menacing villians. The second entry ...

Pierce Brosnan and I have one thing in common
Brosnan, star of later Bond film "Goldeneye", told an interviewer that this movie was the first Bond flick he saw as a teenager in Dublin. With me it was the Stoneridge Theater in the Rochester NY suburb of Greece. My brother and I, along with two neighbor friends traveled to this early strip mall movie house in my old Chevy (I was the only one old enough to drive). One thing about Bond flicks ...

One of the best Bond films
This one had it all, a top-notch Bond, great locations, sets, action, and best of all, one of the best Bond women, Izabella Scorupco. Wow, what a beauty, what an attractive character, makes me proud to be Polish (Izabella's Polish too)! That's two straight movies I've seen with knockout Polish female leads, check out Dagmara (last name escapes me) in The Count of Monte Cristo. I've always thought ...

Bond James Bond
I love the James Bond movies.Roger moore was my favorite. Some of his humor in his movies gets a laugh out of me.I think that this is not the best Bond movie with Roger Moore in it,but it still gets the 5 stars. Agent 007 has to retrieve the ATAC system from a sunken ship and has to do this before the enemy gets it.

A great movie---even better at 1080P
I love the movie "From Russia with Love"---end of story. This review is about the Blu-Ray edition. By way of comparison, I also own the recently upgraded DVD version of this film that was included in the James Bond Ultimate Edition set. That movie (the DVD) was restored to a sensational level of quality. In fact, I doubted it could be visually improved upon. I was wrong. The Blu-Ray ...

The Best Bond EVER!!!
Listen up, Timothy Dalton delivers the best Bond performance ever in The Living Daylights. His charisma and charm are awesome. Forget Daniel Craig and Pierce Brosnan....The Living Daylights is the best Bond film ever made. It goes to show that alot of violence is not necessary to make a good film.

A humorous, intriguing take on 007
Although it's understandable why some dislike this film, it's nowhere near the trainwrecks of A View to a Kill or The World is Not Enough. Not exactly my favorite of the series, it's still one I enjoy watching from time to time. Live and Let Die is a Bond that tends to grows on some people, not all.

regardless of what some might say
People hate this movie, so I like it. It is a great movie that I compare to "Kids". I'm no movie critic, But I've been around people like in this movie. I've been there with my friends and what not. This movie unlike most shows the reality that a lot go through. The music is tight, the characters r realistic and remind you of your peeps that u roll around with. If John Leguizamo woulda been ...

One of the Greatest Bond Films
"On Her Majesty's Secret Service" has always been an underrated Bond film. People used to delight in putting it down because it was the only film to star George Lazenby as Bond. Years ago I saw a list that had it listed as the worst Bond film. It has since been reevaluated and it is now recognized as what I've always known it to be: "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" is a great Bond film, one ...

The Undertakers Wind and other Stuff
The groundbreaking DR. NO is one of the best James Bond films of the series. Sean Connery's performance is that of the no-nonsense dedicated civil servant entrusted with a "licence-to-kill" when he chooses, where he chooses and whom he chooses. His screen presence alone conveys the physical, intellectual and moral conviction of the character. Connery's portrayal in this film directed by Terence ...

Not Enough 007
This not one of the well known Bond films. Pierce Brosnan mostly succeeds as the suave 007 and brings a different take on Bond. Judi Dench is in her element as the head of Brit Intel and their are enough gadgets to keep Bond ahead of the enemy. One for Bond completists.

Roger Moore was heading toward the end of his James Bond days but he had the energy to pull another thriller for moviegoers and for those fans who caught this on DVD! Maud Adams and Louis Jourdan played their roles in quite a convincing fashion.Thrills and excitement await you with "Octopussy"!
