Great Sailor Moon
Such a cute and touching tale. Luna falls head over heals in love...not for Artemis (sorry man) but for a scientist. Guess she likes the intellectual types...especially when they save her life. Although love is in bloom in december, the scouts have a new problem and enemy on their hands. an evil ice queen is trying to freeze over the entire earth and add it to her collection of frozen ...

Lovely
This film came out just as I was new in Chicago, in a new city, with a new job, in a terrible lirttle apartment and so so alone. I was 25 and had all but given up ever finding love. I think I saw this movie about eight times because I could identify with the story so much. I felt no one understood me but at least this movie did. Soon after the movie left the theatre out of the blue love came ...

Great family movie
I watched this when it first came out, and it is just a great inspiring family movie. I purchased the DVD for my teen girl cousins as they have never seen the movie, and knew they would love it. I really recommend this movie to anyone that loves great family movies, or has young female family members that will enjoy an inspiring movie.

A Wonderful Story...
The dialogue is dated in places; some of the characters and scenes are not politically correct (this is an old film, of course); the special effects (at the beginning) are quite lame. Even so, I really REALLY loved this movie. In fact, I count it among the 10 all-time best movies I've ever seen. This story is about the transforming power of true friendship in the life of someone who is both ...

Excellent Vietnam War Movie
This is a excellent movie about a US Navy Doctor and Nurse who fall in love during the Vietnam. It's the sort of movie that both you and your girlfriend / wife would enjoy together. This movie is a bit of sleeper and is well worth seeing. One of the better Vietnam War movies, as it was made in the Phillipines in the mid 1980's using authentic uniforms, weapon's, helicopter's etc.

Terrific movie if you are into the life of an American-Native Indian much like it is today. I visited the Lakota Reservation outside of Rapid City, which is the poorest county in the United States. So how the federal government and differences by tribe members make a big difference in their individual lives. I wish them well, and recommend anyone who is interested in history,(past and Present) ...

"It's what you do with what you got that counts!"
We see an old scrapbook as the narrator recalls that the summer of 1903 was a special one for him and is still dear to his heart. Then the story begins and we meet young Jerry who lives on the farm with his tough but loving Granny. A newborn black lamb has been rejected by its mother and Jerry convinces Granny to let him raise it, against her better judgment. And even though Danny the lamb is ...

Braveheart- A Great Film and Perfect Showcase Blu-Ray
There is a good reason why, fifteen years after its initial release, Braveheart has become a sort of modern classic. The story manages the delicate balance of being both epic and very personal. It is a story of love, revenge, betrayal, and freedom and it explores each of those points in such a way that the viewer cannot help but be transported to early 14th century Scotland and drawn into the the ...

Didn't Want It To End!
"Clara's Heart" is a film that once again showcases the great talent of Whoopi Goldberg. She can make us laugh, she can make us cry. In this film, we fall in love with her "Clara" in the short span of little more then 100 minutes and hate to have to leave her when it's time. We want to spend just a few more minutes with this wonderful person. A family is overcome by the grief at the loss of ...

From Lancer to Matters of the Heart
James Stacy was always one of my favorite actors. I adored him in the western series Lancer that aired in 1968 as Johnny Lancer (Madrid} a gun slinger. An unfortunate motorcycle accident occurred in his life on September 27, 1973. He took a different turn in "Matters of the Heart." He was a Vietnam veteran that losted his left arm and leg in the war and later worked in a hardware store with his ...

Crazy from the Heart-Movie
This is a great romantic movie. It also tells about how small town cliques and opinions can affect ones life. The main character (Christine Lahti) finds the courage to follow her heart and fight the system so she can be happy for the first time in her life. The comedy is great. It has some language, no nudity. It is one of my all time favorite movies.

There's No Place Like Home...
Sailor Ripley (Nicolas Cage from 8MM) is a convicted Murderer... er, I mean "manslaughterer" on parole. He decides to hit the road w/ his blazingly hot gal, Lula Pace (Laura Dern from Blue Velvet and Inland Empire), and head for California. The two young lovers are pursued by the various minions of Lula's unbalanced mother, Marietta Fortune (Diane Ladd), who only wants to kill Sailor at any cost. ...

Sweet Christmas Movie! I Wish It Was On DVD!
I love Christmas movies and romance movies and this Christmas movie/romance story is very good and is sweet without being syrupy sweet and I think Roma Downey (Touched By An Angel) and Eric McCormack (Will and Grace) were both very good and so was Hector Elizondo (Chicago Hope), and the little girl who played Roma Downey's daughter. This movie is about a wealthy man played by Eric McCormack who ...

Dry, Droll, And Unspeakably Funny--In The Most Polite Way Possible
The English seem to have a gift for "black comedy"--and nowhere is that gift on better display than in the 1949 KIND HEARTS AND CORONETS, a film that finds Alec Guiness playing eight members of the D'Ascoyne family and Dennis Price as the black sheep of the family who is determined to kill his way through them to both avenge his mother and obtain the title Duke of Chalfont. The film is often ...

Watch it again
This movie has to be seen only after reading the book. If I truly feel the movie deserves five stars the book is six. Often people confuse media. This is a movie it is not a book. The book is not a movie. Yes, they will be different. For one thing is you are going to watch the movie one time, forget it, you will probably not enjoy it and you will be utterly confused. This movie requires ...

Badass Babe!
Anthony LaPaglia is an extremely successful hit man who is hired to whack Mimi Rogers. Problem is that THIS hit man, way down deep inside, is a lonely romantic, and is smitten by his mark. If you think you've heard this one before, think again. Very unusual, very romantic, and a love story that you will never forget. Mimi also shows us how tough a woman can be.
