Road Runner & Wile E Coyote: Scrapes of Wrath [VHS]5 reviews
Mel Blanc, Paul Julian

Warner Home Video, 1994

Classic cartoon violence for all ages.
I am a HUGE Coyote fan. It's ashame he looses 99.9% of the time. Not such a good video for coyote fans ( for the obvious reasons ), but still a great cartoon. The one with Bugs is almost unwatchable. This also features one of the first cartoons where Wile E. Coyote talks. "Allow me to introduce myself. Wile E. Coyote, genius.". A must have for any Looney Toons fan.

Lovely to Look at [VHS]9 reviews
Kathryn Grayson, Red Skelton

MGM (Video & DVD), 1995

It's Lovely!
This is a delightful MGM musical that has not gotten the credit that it deserves. The amazing duo of Kathryn Grayson and Howard Keel are wonderful...as usual. Marge and Gower Champion and Ann Miller add beautiful dancing, and Red Skelton adds humor. The songs are great. Kathryn Grayson performs "Yesterdays" and "Smoke Gets In Your Eyes". Howard Keel sings "The Most Exciting Night" and "Lovely to ...

Skins (2002) [VHS]48 reviews
Graham Greene, Eric Schweig

First Look Pictures, 2003

Powerfully affecting without preaching
I am a middle-aged white woman who works daily with the tribes in the Northern Plains, but I live nearest the Pine Ridge Reservation, home to the Oglala Lakota nation. I've written and photographed for several Native American newspapers and magazines. Originally from Detroit, via Cleveland, San Diego and Indianapolis, I find that most people in this country, particularly from east of the ...

If Looks Could Kill [VHS]17 reviews
Richard Grieco, Linda Hunt

Warner Home Video, 1995

A great Bond parody movie
I remember seeing this movie when it originally came out in the cinemas - and I came out with a smile on my face. Its one of those silly but really enjoyable teen movies that were so popular in the 1980s (eg Ferris Buller's Day off or Real Genius) that aren't made any more. This is still I think the best Bond parody movie I've seen - given how much else that has come out on DVD over the years ...

Blue's Clues - Stop, Look and Listen [VHS]7 reviews
Steve Burns, Traci Paige Johnson

Nickelodeon Network, 2000

This is a great video!
My son, Ben, loves this video! He is almost 3 and he love to sing along with Steve and mimic Steve's actions. I think this video also works for a wide range of ages. I know that when Ben gets older, he will still love watching Blue and Steve; he will enjoy these videos on a different level.

Catfish in Black Bean Sauce [VHS]25 reviews
Mary Alice, Andre Rosey Brown

First Look Pictures, 2001

Pushes up against stereotypes....
This movie is a great tool for initiating dialogue about issues of diversity! The conversation between Dwayne and Micheal concerning Samantha (Mike's girlfriend) is great and challenges people's need to label one another. It touches on many cultural issues in a real and comedic way. This is one of my favorite movies. Paul Winfield and Mary Alice are incredibly believable, and all the actors do ...

Don't Look Now [VHS]122 reviews
Julie Christie, Donald Sutherland

Paramount, 1998

Hauntingly beautiful....
I consider this film, "The Man Who Fell to Earth", and "Walkabout", Roeg's best films. I wish he were still making this type of beautiful movie. I saw this when it first came out and still remembered it, but it didn't ruin my pleasure in another viewing. As other reviewers have stated, it "haunts" you. As for those that complained about the nude scene, I think that it was the most tender ...

Finding Lucy - The Definitive Look Into the Life of America's First Lady of Television (Lucille Ball) [VHS]2 reviews
Robert Osborne (II), Gale Gordon

Paramount, 2003

I love Lucy
This is a very comprehensive story of Lucy's life and very enjoyable. I bought the VHS because I saw some of this on PBS and wanted to see the whole thing. I wish it was on DVD.

Lower Level [VHS]5 reviews
David Bradley, Elizabeth Gracen

First Look Pictures, 2000

Great movie but high prices
I agree and why does the movies have such high prices as this one and others, who could possibly buy it, this is what causes people to look into other avenues for their movies. Lower these prices and have reasonable prices sellers.

Teletubbies - Look! [VHS]8 reviews
Rolf Saxon, John Simmit

Pbs Home Video, 2003

Enjoy this with your smallest viewers
"Look" is a simple, yet engaging program for toddlers. I see one reviewer felt this DVD compared unfavorably to other Teletubbies selections because of its plainness, but I think there's a place for plainness with viewers that young. They don't need a great lot of stimulation at this age. I've watched this several times with my two-year-old, and I think its perfect in its way. Also - the ...

One Week (2000) [VHS]30 reviews
Kenny Young (II), Saadiqa Muhammad

First Look Pictures, 2003

THIS MOVIE WAS GREAT AND TRUTHFUL
I have been waiting to see this movie for years. When I in the theatre's I didn't get a chance to see it. I enjoyed it and it was worth the wait. It is a story that is ful of truth and not fiction.

If Looks Could Kill [VHS]1 review
Kimberly Lambert, Tim Gail

Lions Gate/Republic Ent., 1991

A MINUSCULE AMOUNT OF TALENT RESULTS IN A PITIABLE MOTION PICTURE.
This wretched attempt at filmmaking features Tim Gail, in his first and last credited role, as George Ringer, a youthful photographer of such fare as weddings, who is commissioned by a bank attorney, Jack Devonoff (Jamie Gillis), to videotape a woman while she is inside of her apartment in order to build an embezzlement case against her. Handsomely paid and supplied with a filming site - an ...

Zoboomafoo - Look Who's Home [VHS]3 reviews
Chris Kratt, Martin Kratt

Pbs Home Video, 2001

Another winner
The Zoboomafoo video series are a big hit in our house - the opening music is enough to get both kids leaping like lemurs! Zoboo himself is like a furry 5 year old - curious and silly, with flashes of brilliant insight. The videos are well done, and are entertaining to adults as well as to kids, even on the "umpteenth" viewing. The information contained in the videos is accurate without ...

Lone Hero [VHS]10 reviews
Lou Diamond Phillips, Sean Patrick Flanery

First Look Pictures, 2003

Lone Hero
I view this movie as a low budget Biker movie which held my interest and was consistant as to my expectations of Lou Diamond Phillips who performed excellent. Supporting actors did a fine job as well. The location where it was filmed reminded me of "Ghost Town" in Maggie Valley North Carolina.

Dragon Tales - Look on the Bright Side [VHS]1 review
Andrea Libman, Danny McKinnon

Sony Pictures, 2002

Look on the Bright side, Cassie and Ord!
I Looooove Dragon Tales! And out of the 3 videos of the series relea sed, I chose this one! I am 26 years old, but I love this! There is an Ord story and 2 Cassie stories. First, Cassie is upset when she doesn't get picked for the Book Float, Then Ord is upset when he thinks Everyone forgot his Birthday, then Cassie Has to deal with a new dragon named Spike, and thinks He's Mean. But in the end ...

Life's Greatest Miracle: A Spectacular New Look at the Journey We All Travel--From Conception to Birth [VHS]7 reviews
Julia Cort, John Lithgow

Pbs Home Video, 2002

Breathtaking!
I am an expecting father, and as such, in the company of my wife we've been reading and learning about babies and pregnancy. I confess I was in awe with the images from this PBS video. There is not another word to describe the whole process from conception to birth but a miracle! The video in a very easy-to-follow way describes in considerable detail all the stages with the support of ...
