Hepburn, Cukor and a heavenly script
Winona Ryder and June Allyson don't belong on the same planet as Hepburn, who simply is Jo. The script is wonderfully intelligent; and catches all the right moments in just the right tone. And Cukor's direction is perfection. I used to scout for art theaters and scour tv listings to catch this version. Such a pleasure to have it on DVD.
